Optical Determination of Constitutive Equations Parametersof Nonlinear Materials
Vavřík, Daniel ; Korouš, Jan ; Zemánková, Jaroslava ; Jaroš, P.
The paper presents simple optical experimental method fordetermination of constitutive equations parameters ofnonlinear materials. Usually only one extensometer orstrain gauge is used for the determination of strain inloading direction and one for the determination of acontraction in standard tensile test.
Experimental and numerical determination of the parametersof the Gurson model for ductile fracture
Laš, V. ; Řehounek, L. ; Vavřík, Daniel
The paper presents results of numerical fit of axisymmetricFE model utilizing the modified Gurson model into experimentalmeasurements of tensile strain and contraction evolutions ofnotched bars. This model combines plasticity and damage by intro-ducing porosity of a material in order to predict final fracture.
Numerical an Experimental Analysis of Plastic Deformation in the Vicinity of the Crack Tip
Laš, V. ; Vavřík, Daniel ; Zemčík, R.
In the first section the rate of strain energy under loading of a crack specimen is discussed, followed by a discussion of numerical analysis of plastic fields in the vicinity of the crack tip and finally comparison with an experiment carried out by an optical method of deformed circles.
ST2D - Software for Determination of Total Strains on a Surface
Vavřík, Daniel
The new optical method of the total strains zone shape and size identification on a surface named "Method of Deformed Circles" was developed in ITAM CAS. Method is based on the optical observations of deformations of hexagonal grid on the specimen surface. Related software ST2D on Windows platform can determine field of strains, stress and energy.
A New Approach to the Solution of Thin Walled Structures
Kolář, P. ; Kubák, J. ; Vavřík, Daniel
A paper describes a new approach in the finite element analysis FEA for big thin wall structures. This structures could be very effectively solved using quadratic solid TETRA 10 elements and special fast finiteelement FFE technology by COSMOS/M system.
