The thesis focuses on service area analysis. The most fitted marketing mix for a particular market area and a marketing plan setting for XY Company are aims of the thesis. The company runs education field and service business. The marketing plan and mix should get the company to leading position in the market, using modern marketing tools. In a theoretical part of the thesis the basic issues are specified, the marketing mix and marketing planning are explained in general, including a description of an each marketing mix element and necessary analyses for marketing planning. In a practical part of the thesis the company and its background are defined and the final marketing plan is concluded.

The diploma thesis deals with elaboration of prospectus about the proposal of building a new style restaurant in the particular lokality, consequently in micro-region Novy Dvur. The final prospectus goes from the complete analysis of the market in term of potential customers and also of current competition. By the choice of the introduced project versions I take the investment return into account, cash flow and net present value. In graduation theses also I valorize diversification of the project.

Projects finance by funds of European Union deals about possibilities and assessment of investments to the projects which bring the benefit to public sector at the level regions, but also as whole for society. On this account can be financed from means of company of EU. The aim diploma thesis is finding factural prospectus in select sector and choose variants of realization. On the basis ascertained records these variants analyze and financially valorize. The thesis will be resolved reconstruction project memorable buildings in the city center Bohumín, thus create new spaces for public library facilities and training center for commercial and non-commercial nature.

Theoretic part describes basic terms, present problems in investigated area and deal with theoretical description of business purpose. The analytical part is focused on stakeholders, mainly on competitors and on firm itself too. The proposal part includes interpretation of possible options and recommendation of appropriate solution for given investment choice.

Diploma thesis also deals with retail market research in Poland, Hungary, Romania, Czech Republic and search for potential customers. Based on analysis the marketing strategy is suggested, leading to improvement of company position on the market and gain of new customers.

In my thesis, I pursue the possibility of using EU funds for financing a project that is primarily focused on education and providing information. The project is submitted by a real non-profit organization and it might be eligible for EU funds support. It deals with enhancing the quality of life in countryside, which should be reached via more effective and perfect access to the up-to-date information. The purpose of this thesis is to create a successful, high-quality educational project with regard to material and financial side of things.
