Mathematical model of the support of experimental aerodynamical profile
Kozánek, Jan ; Bula, Vítězslav ; Zolotarev, Igor
In this paper the simple mathematical model of longitudinal and angular vibrating motion of experimental aerodynamical NACA0015 profile is given. With the help of dynamical experiments from complex frequency responses are by least squares fitting method identified complex eigenvalues. The direct identification method defines real coefficient matrices (of order 2) of stiffness, damping and mass of this non-conservative dynamical system. Finally, the comparisons of measured and from mathematical model evaluated responses are given and discussed.

Vibrace vyvolané proudem tekutiny 2008
Zolotarev, Igor ; Horáček, Jaromír
Flow-induced vibrations and noise continue to cause problems in a wide range of engineering applications, ranging from mechanical and aerospace engineering, civil engineering and ship and offshore structures to power generation and chemical processing. These proceedings bring together 139 papers dealing with a variety of topics relating to flow-induced vibration and noise, such as:vortex-induced vibration, vibration of heat-exchanger tube bundles, progress in fluid-structure interaction theory and CFD simulations, flow-sound interaction, biomechanics of voice and hearing, thermo-acoustic instabilities, vibration of hydraulic structures, gates, turbomachines nad piping systems. The contents of this publication constitute a „mixture“ of investigations by those working on the mechanisms of vibration and means of their alleviation, and studies by those in industry who draw on the present state of knowledge of these mechanisms to avoid or solve flow induced vibratin and noise problems in industrial and other applications.

Carpe diem – Raymond E.A.C. Paley: life and scientific work (1907-1933)
Zolotarev, Igor ; Žitný, K.
Raymond Edward Alan Christopher Paley, the student of G.H. Hardy and J.E. Littlewood, influenced the progress of harmonic analysis in the 20th century not only through the proper scientific publications about Fourier analysis in the complex domain, lacunary series, trigonometric interpolation and developments in polynomials, but by means of the collaboration with the co-authors J.E. Littlewood, A. Zygmund and N. Wiener, too.

Computational acoustic modal analysis of selected parts of a steam pipe system
Zolotarev, Igor ; Horáček, Jaromír ; Pešek, Luděk
The repart deals with frite element modelling and computations of the frequency-modal acoustic characteristics of selected parts of complicated pipe systems conveying water steam. In all cases studied, first 10 acoustic natural frequencies were in the frequency range up to 150 Hz. No lateral acoustic natural mode of vibration appeared in this frequency range and all modes were longitu-dinal, that can be approximately described by 1D theory for acoustic wave propagation in cylondrical ducts.
