The parisien group Les Six

My work deals with the great French group, called the Paris of the top six, who queued up to modern music and has become my favorite. Here I deal with primarily complete biographies of all members, I try to explore what were all these writers in his time, influenced, as I present an overview of each of them works. I´m thinking and create a their final views on the composer´s contribution to the history of music I could best understand their orinality, innovation and immense all stimuli were able to influence their musical direction, which is now so much admired. My work tries to open the reader the essence of any musical style. You could say it´s a kind of summary for me extremely valuable and interesting. This case was an obvious step for me, because I wanted this work has previously paid. The Academy of Music, I was taken by my oral exam successfully mastered the history of music, which is related to " Les Six". It´s kind of my big personal thanks.
Jan Novák : Orpheus et Eurxdice "

In her graduation thesis, the author discusses the interpretation and difficulties encountered learning and performing Jan Novak´s chamber cantata " Orpheus et Eurydice". She also touches upon Novakś life, including his character and human side, as well as his interest in Latin. Also included is information about the viola d´amoure, which occupies an important position in this cantata.
Wexford Opera Festival

This MgA project is following my Bc project, which was about the estabilishing and beginnig of Wexford Opera Restival. MgA project is about the progress in years 1961 - 1968. You can find in this work the basic ideas of WOF, the main facts about this developing festival in the second decade of it´s existence and information about the choosing repertoire and artists. This is the only comprehensive factographical material in Czech language. In the Introdiction you can find much more about the base of WOF - also in english language.
Life and work of Manuel Patricio García

My master´s thesis is devoted to the life and work of Manuel Patricio García, singer, music educator and vocal pedagogist. I particularly focus on his physiological and anatomical knowledge of the vocal apparatus which was thanks to the use of the laryngoscopy mirror very precise. García´s descriptions and schemes of the processes that occur in the human body in the course of the singing represent strong evidence of the fact that he only needed the laryngoskopy mirror to make conclusions that have been confirmed by the use of special and sophisticated sophisticated investigative methods. Some relevant issues from his familly life have been included in this work.
Phenomenom of Slovak Singing School with Respect to Teaching Professor Zlatica Livorova

I chose the theme of this dissertation " Phenomenon of Slovak Singing School withRespect to Teaching Professor Zlatica Livorova" because I have been studied on VSMU in her class for 3 years and during my studies I found out how outstanding person she is and how important is her pedagogical work not only for me but for all her students as well. Unfortunately there was no book written about her life and work and for many of people she is known just from resumes of her former students - well konwn theater singer and that is the another reasin for my choice.Through my dissertation I would like to express many thanks to her for the time and effort she dedicated to me and congratulate her on life anniversary. My dissertation consists from sixt parts. The first part stands for introduction, resume of Prof. Livorova is in the second part included, the third part consists of seven interviews, the fourth part is dedicated to my personal feelings and experiences with her teachingmethods. There is an exposition about current situation in culture in Czech Rep. and Slovakia in the fifth part. The main ideas from the whole dissertation are summarized in the closure.Documenting pictures are enclosed.
"E.W.Korngold and his Songs"

The Masters thesis deal with songs of Erich Wolfgang Korngold who was born in Brno May 29,1897 and died in Los Angeles, November 29, 1957. At the beginning chapters I worked up E.W.Korngold´s biography and his musical production. Chapter 4th includes analysis of his songs and sonds´cycles with special focus on opus 27 the " Unvergänglichkeit" that I have interpreted several times. I also present several examles of texts of individual songs, pictures of E.W.Korngold, and various exclosures ,the most interesting is a complete list of E.W.Korngold´s works.
The modern Opereta ( Prague,Vienna)

In this work I put mind to the history and the develompment of the operetta. I introdukce the important composers of this genre and one smaller chapter has been devoted to the Czech operetta composer Oskar Nedbal. The next part of my work has been focused on the Music Theatre in Karlín and the Theatre in Volksoper in Vienna. I describe my own spectator´s experience with the operetta to compare the Czech and Vienesse operetta in today´s production. At the end of my work I analyze my interpretative experience with this artistic genres.
Peter Il'ich Tchaikovsky: Eugen Onegin

This dissertation should illuminate readers the evolution, course, abstract and music composition of the opera Evžen Oněgin composed by Russian composer Petr Iljič Čajkovský. It also examines his life and work with regard to the reasons and circumstances of the opera Evžen Oněgin. It also includes a biography of Alexandr Sergejevič Puškin and it deals with the emergence of the novel in verse named Evžen Oněgin, which became a topic for the opera. The dissertation also follows the latest performance of the opera at the National Theatre and demonstrates it by reviews.
Gustav Mahler vocal -symphonic works from point of view of performer

This work summarizes the vocal-symphonic works of Gustav Mahler and it gives the basis for a future Master´s thesis. To understand the depth of the Master´s music, insight into his work and to take adequate grasp is needed to be account the topic more generally. Such a requirement can be achieved only if the account of Mahler not only the work itself, but if we learn more broadly about the composer´s life, family situation and the contemporary reality that together act on his musical language. Only through such a review is to highlight possible cardinality of Mahler´s musical legacy. The goal of this work is to acquaint the reader with the life of this worlds´s genius, to streamline the implementation of the works of the Prague Philharmonic Choir, the state works with emphasis on the Song of the Earth and dealt with on my own not only solo experience with the music of Gustav Mahler.
The emergence of opera buffa and the contributtion of G.B.Pergolesi

The aim this work is the theme " The emergence of opera buffa and the contribution of G.B.Pergolesi". In the first chapters I try to briefly familiarize the reader with the Neapolitan school and its founders Francesco Provenzale, Alessandro Scarlatti and others. Furthermore, I attend to the issue of castratos, who vere trained in the Neapolitan conservatories, their way of singing, and their importance in baroque opera. In the next chapter I ˇII touch Veapolitan operas and operation of theatre, which was influenced by contemporary usage and taste. It started here at the Opera to use dialect and theraby seamlessly evolved form of opera buffa. The next part is already disccused in detail the difference between opera seria and opera buffa and a brief substance of the comic operas of authors such as Leonardo Leo, Leonardo Vinci, Baldassare Galupi and Niccolo Puccini. In conclusion I mention Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, his work and contribution to the opera. Trying to explain in more details nature of the characters appearing in the intermezzo " La Serva Padrona".
