Commuting in Pribram Country

The goal of this work is to analyze commuting in Pribram country. The work is devided into two parts. Overview solved problems, which describes the labor market, uneployment, spatial mobility and analyzed Pribram country. In second part of this work is analyzed in detail the commuting to work using the date from CSÚ, own calculations and questionnaire survey. There are described relations witch influence the commuting in this region. These relations are evaluated and compared with the results of questionnaire survey. The finding is that commuting to Pribram affects of receiving salary and educational attainment. Conversely, factors of age, driving distance and time spent on the road is not for the people of the region important. Příbramsko is very affected by the driving out to Prague.
Analysis of Euro Currency in Slovakia

This bachelor thesis mainly deals with the analysis of the Slovak economy since the introduction of the Euro on January 1, 2009 until the January 2015. Thesis further deals with the brief history of the European monetary integration, integration of the Euro in Slovakia and how the development of the Slovak economy was since its independence in 1993 until the introduction of the Euro. It presents how Slovakia was dealing with the meeting of Maastricht criteria and the preparation of citizens of Slovakia for a new currency. In thesis is also stated the impact of the economic crisis on Slovak economy and the impact of the crisis on public finances of the whole Eurozone. It explains European rescue funds the European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF) and the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) and how Slovakia dealt with the introduction of these funds. The analysis itself deals with the development of the Slovak economy, especially the development of the foreign trade and the GDP. The analytical part of the thesis compares the current situation in Slovakia concerning the inflation, growth of minimum wages, labor productivity per hour, growth of the GDP, total public debt and unemployment with the situation in other countries of the Eurozone. In the last chapter are stated opinions of experts about the present and the future situation of the Euro.
Price Development of Agricultural Commodities - Case Study of: Corn, Wheat and Soybeans

The submitted thesis is focused on price development of wheat, corn and soybeans in 1995 / 2015. The aim of the thesis is to bring complex view on price development and its volatility of chosen commodities. The other aims are determination of relations between individual markets, their volatility and liquidity. There have been also stated research questions dealing with impact of harvests of main world producers on the price volatility, relation between market volatility and liquidity, and influence of seasons on volatility of given commodities. There have been mixed two approaches fundamental and technical analysis. Fundamental analysis brings information about the main factors affecting the supply and demand of chosen commodities and putting these information into context of historical prices development. Technical analysis offers tools for volatility determination. The data based on technical analysis have been used for other processing with aim to bring better understanding of the market structure. The synthesis of previous results follow and the price development is interpreted in the context of these obtained information.
The development of unemployment in the Czech Republic - case study of Ústecký region

The thesis of this bachelor's thesis is Unemployment trend in Czech Republic. Unemployment is historically and also currently one of the most monitored and discussed phenomena of the market economy. It can be influenced by an active employment policy, which is targeted especially for high-risk groups. In the practical part I focus on defining specific terms regarding unemployment trend, for example types of unemployment, measurement of unemployment, causes and consequences and risk groups. The practical part is focused on detailed characteristic of Usti Region. Development of unemploymentin this region and vacancies are described. Active employment policy, Usti Region projects co-financed by the European Social Fund are characterized. Unemployment analysis is processed using tables and graphs.
Cultural standards and their impacts on business negotiation - case study of China

This bachelor thesis is focused on the impact of cultural standards on business negotiation focusing on China. In this work were used descriptive and comparative methods of investigation. The first part deals with culture as it is, provides the demarcation of concepts as culture, cultural relativism or organizational culture. Further provides partitions of some specifics of culture and a brief description of history and its evolution. Consequently contains a detailed description of cultural dimensis theory from Geert Hofstede, which is consisted of five parts: power distance, collectivisme versus individualisme, masculinity versus femininity, uncertainty avoidance and long term orientation. In the second part is application of these dimensions on Chinese culture. Below are specific features of Chinese culture, like mianzi - face, guanxi - connections and also are described some aspects of business etiquette with particular focus on negotiations in China. Practical part demonstrates that the Chinese culture plays a significant role in trade negotiations with Chinese partners.
Analysis of Unemployment Graduates in the Central Region

Unemployment is one of the problems, which is dealing by economists and government. The reason why the unemployment rate increase attention, lies in the fact that among the macroeconomic indicators used to evaluate the national economy. Unfortunately, in addition to economic consequences, it also causes social consequences. This thesis deals with unemployment of graduates of secondary schools, colleges and universities in the Central Region. Unemployed graduates are lately frequently discussed topic. Graduates belong to see so called risk groups of unemployed, where the main cause of unemployment is the lack of practice. The theoretical part is defining terms related to unemployment. The content of this book was used literature, law and electronic resources. In the practical part is briefly characterized Central Bohemia and graduate unemployment in the Czech Republic compared to the overall unemployment Czech Republic. The practical part continues the subsequent analysis of graduate unemployment in the Central Region by district, field of study and education attainment of unemployed graduates. The whole practical part is also reflected in the analysis of the number of vacancies. In the annexes of my work is processed data of the company Jobs. In this work it was found that unemployment among graduates in the Central Region is very good. As well as the unemployment rate of the Central Region being in comparison to other regions lower. The outcome suggests that such low unemployment of graduates in the Central Region can be expected in the coming years.
The development of unemployment in the Czech Republic in Chomutov region

Bachelor's work is focused on the problems of unemployment in the Chomutov region. The work is divided into the general theoretical part and my findings. The first part of my work gives definitions of basic terms and distinguishes different types of unemployment and maps out the consequences. Next I have tried to solve unemployment through the employment policy instruments in the labor market. Primarily, my direction of interest in the second part is the development of unemployment in the whole history of Czech Republic up the present day. The basis of the work is the material published on the website of the Czech Statistical Office, Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. The especial attention is focused on unemployment in relation to the history and the geography of the Chomutov region. This region is still one of the major areas of the industry in the north of Bohemia. Some information associated from the region of Chomutov has been derived from the Labour Office of Chomutov and several personal consultations with the local Leader of the Labor market and the Head of consulting and training. The further attention is oriented to the problem solving the tackling against high unemployment throughout the Usti district for several years. There is a possibility of using of active employment policy instruments for example. The main solution is providing retrainings for registered job applicants. My elaboration is supplemented by a series of accompanying charts and tables.
The analysis of unemployment development in a selected region

The aim of this thesis capable with analyzing of unemployment in the Russian federation. Attention of readers drawn to the definition of the main determinants that influence on macroeconomic indicators. The thesis divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. Theoretical part of the work includes an introduction, focusing on the concepts of the topic and explains the context for understanding the issue, using the opinions of the most important world economists. In the practical part there are made analysis with specific data for the Russian Federation in the area of unemployment. Comparative and descriptive methods have been used in the thesis. Were identified factors affecting the overall unemployment rate processes associated with structural changes in the economy, the development of new economic forms, the privatization of the treatment with the introduction of the principle of voluntary work, as well as factors slowing labor costs for the working process.
Unemployment development in the Czech Republic- Case study of Vysočina region

The bachelor thesis Unemployment development in the Czech Republic Case study of Vysočina region deals with the unemployment and the situation on the labor market in the Czech Republic, specifically in the Vysočina region. The goal is to thoroughly explain the term unemployment, which causes severe problems to society, and at the same time describe current unemployment rate in the Vysočina region. The theoretical part explains basic terms regarding the theme, since they appear throughout the whole thesis. The practical part describes economical aspects and the development of unemployment in the Vysočina region. I've concluded that although the unemployment has decreased in the past couple of years in the Vysočina region has, the current state is not adequate. The solution is the proper use of labor policy instruments which contribute to reduce unemployment.
Foreign Trade Impacts on Economy - Case Study of Peru

This thesis analyses the impact of foreign trade on the Peruvian economy by empirical study in the development of exports and imports and the mutual influence of GDP development on it, with the intention to ascertain to what extent the trade liberalization was beneficial. The work is divided into two main parts. The theoretical bases include an overview of the basic concepts of international trade, definitions and causes. Basic and alternative theories are stated as well. It follows a brief explanation of commercial policy and its main instruments. Next chapter fully dedicated to Peru is distributed in three parts and presents general information about the country, its main economic characteristics, the development of its commercial policies relating to foreign trade and the process of liberalization of the Peruvian economy since the fifties until today. After that, a section that focuses on GDP growth in the last fifteen years is presented. The last part of this chapter aims exclusively at foreign trade. Here is accomplished an analysis of the evolution over time of exports and imports classified by sector. In addition, Peru agreements with other trading partners are briefly presented.
