Bioimpedance measurement
Pagáčová, Lenka ; Balogh, Jaroslav (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
The work deals with the body analysis using bioimpedance. The work included theory about bioimpedance and methods associated with the analysis. In the practical part is design of the device for measuring body composition including a software for the microcontroller. The assembled device was tested and compared with commercial product Tanita.
Active noise cancellation
Bulva, Ondřej ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Balogh, Jaroslav (advisor)
This project deals with problems of active noise cancellation. The first part focuses on the understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the human hearing. Furthermore, the understanding of the basic principles of acoustics, distribution of sound, and his generating. The important part is introduction to the issue of noise in the environment. The second part is dedicated to device design. The aim of this work was to design and construct device for active noise cancellation. Designed and assembled were two versions of the device for active noise cancellation. The problems associated with achieving the perfect noise cancellation is analyzed at the end of the work in detail together with the results of active noise canceling each version of the device.
Modul for electrical stimulation
Lahodný, Libor ; Balogh, Jaroslav (referee) ; Bubník, Karel (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis is concerned with the concept and building of the stimulator which is controlled using a computer USB port. The introduction discussed the issue of DC/DC converters and their possible variations. In the next section of the introduction describes the components used in the stimulator and the Arduino development kit whereby the further stimulator is controlled. This stimulator makes possible to change voltage, current, frequency and pulse width.Overload protection is realized with the aid of electronic fuse and using software.
LED based Goldmann perimeter
Veselý, Vladan ; Bubník, Karel (referee) ; Balogh, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design a LED-based Goldmann Perimeter. The core of the device, a microcontroller, is able to communicate with a computer and is connected using a serial port or a USB. Part of the work is a creation of a Matlab code. Matlab comunicate with computer and display the results. The output of every examination is a display of a patient’s visual field. This work describes the design, construction and implementation of the perimeter, including the creation of the software.
Contactless measurement of temperature
Smrž, Martin ; Rozman, Jiří (referee) ; Balogh, Jaroslav (advisor)
Purpose of this bachelor thesis is get acquainted with problem of non-contact measuring of surface temperature of human body. The teoretical part of this labour deal about physical substance of non-contact temperature measurement, using types of detectors and application of this method to the medicine. In the practical part will focus on design and realization of electrical circuit for non-contact temperature measuring, comunication with personal computer and software solution of program for building surface temperature map of patient. At the end of labour was performed a set of measuring to compare accuracy of built thermometer with commercially available products.
Device for measuring the electrical activity of muscles
Slouka, Petr ; Chmelař, Milan (referee) ; Balogh, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis contains introduction to the basic principles of creation and transmission of action potentials. Afterwards it is outlined development of electromyography which is used for measuring electrical signals from muscles and attributes of electromyographic signal. Next part describes design of the device for measuring electrical activity of muscles. Thesis contains diagrams of the integrated circuit, design of printed circuit board and list of components which are needed for realization of the device.
Automatic measurement of characteristics of ampliers used for biosignals
Flídr, Karel ; Balogh, Jaroslav (referee) ; Harabiš, Vratislav (advisor)
This thesis is dedicated to operational amplifiers for biological signals. This work provides basic electrodiagnostic methods for scanning of biosignals. The work describes the processing of biological signals and types of sensors used for scanning of biological signals. Then there is described the development environment LabVIEW and NI ELVIS II development board. Finally, there is described an application developed in LabVIEW environment for measuring amplifiers attributes.
Data Communication between the Health Information Systems
Kubínová, Kateřina ; Balogh, Jaroslav (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
Semestral thesis is applyed to theme of data standards, national information system and national health registers. Main part is analysis of security of sensitive patient´s data during transfer between hospital information systems in network of Internet.
Classification systems in the hospitals
Valla, Radek ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Balogh, Jaroslav (advisor)
Classification systems in health care in the Czech Republic come increasingly to the fore when billing for services provided by hospitals. This work presents a review of classification systems and is focused on systems dealing with economic demands of hospitalization (DRG) in Czech Republic and abroad. In the Czech Republic, hospitals are working with IR-DRG system; therefore it is discussed in a separate chapter. The work also includes design of web application using technologies from InterSystems. The application serves as a module of the hospital information system Clinicom to calculate hospitalization rates by classification into the DRG.
Microcontroler based On Demand Pacemaker
Daniš, Václav ; Balogh, Jaroslav (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
Pacemakers have nowadays become an inseparable part of treatment in a wide range of cardiovascular diseases. The topic of this bachelors degree paper refers to and proposes the implementation of a functional type of ´On Demand´ pacemaker controlled by a microcontroller. The introductory chapters focus on a more detailed, theoretical familiarization with the complex issues of permanent heart cardiostimulation. In addition to the actual theory of pacemakers and cardiostimulation, the chapters also include those significant historical aspects in the evolution of permanent cardiostimulation, the basic structures of heart anatomy and the transmission system of the heart. Also included are the recording of heart activity and ECG analysis, both physiological and pathological. In the practical part of the paper I deal with the ´On Demand´ pacemaker controlled by a microcontroller with a firm (solid, strong, steady, fixed) repeating frequency inhibited by the R wave. Subsequently, a proposed system for its implementation is created. The next step is the creation of a scheme for the electrical connections and composition of the microcontroller programme. The final part illustrates the implementation of the model of the pacemaker itself, preceded by a verification of the efficacy of the connections in a non-solder field.
