Optimization of firm´s tax liability

The main objective of this Master's thesis is to analyze the regulation of tax liability of legal person and on the basis of the analysis to reveal opportunities for optimization of the tax liability by means of practical examples of the application of tax optimization. To achieve this objective, the work is divided into five main chapters. The purpose of the first four chapters is to provide a sufficient theoretical base connected with tax optimization. This section begins with the interpretation of general problems of the theory of corporate taxes, which gradually passes into the interpretation of more specific areas. In the following part of the work the selected methods of tax optimization are used on illustrative numerical examples, the conditions for the application of optimization methods are determined and the situation before using the optimization and after the use is compared. The conclusion summarizes the possible ways of reducing the tax burden of the firm and the possibility of their practical use.
Accounts Receivable Management

The aim of the thesis is to focus on accounts receivable management. Theoretical knowledge involving definition of receivables, their creation, life cycle, management, securing up to cash collecting are applied to the selected company in the context of the economic and political situation and the position on the Czech market. The aim is to analyze the accounts receivable management on real examples and assessment of used methodology. The output is a critical evaluation of the functioning of the system set in the selected company, including finding gaps and proposing specific measures how to eliminate them in order to improve the functioning of the process.
The Valuation of the Manufacturing Company

The objective of this Master's Thesis is to estimate the market value of the company Moravskoslezské cukrovary, a.s., as of 28. 02. 2013. Thesis is divided into two parts, the first part is theoretical and the second part is practical. The theoretical part provides the reader with the definition of the most important terms used in the practical part and describes the processes used for an evaluation of the company. In the practical part financial and strategic analyses are used to assess the financial health of the company, to forecast potential profits of the company and to examine the internal and external working environments. Analyses are followed by the creation of the complete financial plan based on the value generators plan. The main method used for an evaluation is the method of discounted cash flow to equity; an additional method is economic value added method. The discount rate is determined using the CAPM method.
Business valuation of Pivovar Nymburk, spol. s r.o.

The aim of this master thesis is business valuation of Pivovar Nymburk, spol. s r.o. to the date 31. 12. 2012. The valuation is made to inform the owners of the enterprise value. This thesis is divided to two parts, theoretical and practical. The first theoretical part presents the key concepts and process of valuation, which is important for the practical part. In the practical part are strategic and financial analysis, analysis and prognosis of generator value, financial plan and mainly business valuation using discounted free cash flow in the variant FCFF. The value of the company is 101 405 000 CZK. Conclusion of the work includes an evaluation of the results.
HOW TO RESCUE COMPANY: Applied principles and methods of crisis management in manufacturing companies

Diploma thesis focuses on mapping of restructuring procedure for manufacturing companies in the Czech republic. It consists of initial analysis of current firm's situation, listing of all possibilities how to deal with company's decline reflecting czech insolvency law and case studies of applied crisis management principles and methods. As a result, you recognize the most important milestones of company's rescue including the general concept of restructuring services in manufacturing companies.

Increasing competition in the industry is forcing companies in search of innovative solutions in order to grow into stronger rival. One of the ways how to achieve this is by introducing elements of lean manufacturing. The aim of this dissertation is to analyze the business processes of the company Haldy Plus - Limited. (Ltd), which operates in the paper industry and its main field of activity is the production of packaging from corrugated cardboard. The content of this thesis is getting to know the theoretical basis for lean production, the company description, identifying potential for improvements, analysis of these critical processes, and measures such as the proposal to streamline processes.

The topic of this master thesis is the appraisment of the company Fruko-Schulz s.r.o. which specialized in the sector of production and distribution of spiritous liquers and fruit sirups. The company will be appraised with use of revenue method of discounted free cash flow for the owners, in the case that the company is able to follow the going concern principle. To be able to assume that, we will use the strategical and financial analyses. In the strategical analysis we will be assessing the internal and external potential of the company and the outlook of the relevant market. In the end we will be able to made prediction of this market and also the company's share of the market. The financial situation will be assessed in the finanacial analysis afterwards. It is then possible according to these analyses create the value generators and the finacial plan for the following years. The company will be appraised according to these plans and free cash flows to the firm.

The aim of the master thesis is to estimate the value of the company BLAŽEK PRAHA a.s. to the valuation date 1. 1. 2012. According to the evaluation of external potential and competitive power of the company, as well as its financial health, value generators' analysis and the prediction of the financial plan, the appropriate methods for the valuation of company BLAŽEK PRAHA a.s. will be selected. The thesis will be practically usable as an auxiliary material for the decision making of potential investor in the clothing industry.
Valuation Ozex company

The aim of this master thesis is to assess the objectified value of entity of the Ozex company. The valuation is based on the method of discounted cash flow, specified in Free Cash Flow to the Firm. For the valuation, the neccesary basis is financial plan. Financial plan, together with performed strategic and financial analysis are foundation for valuation. The financial statements were used for the determining the value of the company. Some information were gained also via interviews with inner employee. The value of enitity based on income approach is estimated to be 15 639 271,63 Eur.
Evaluation of the market value of a firm – Drubezarsky zavod Klatovy as of 1st of January 2014

This master's thesis dealing with appraisal of a firm Drubezarsky zavod Klatovy which is headquartered in Klatovy is composed of seven essential chapters such as company background, strategic analysis, financial analysis, value drivers, financial plan, valuation and valuation summary along with sensitivity analysis in order to provide a complete range of understanding. Individual key chapters are divided into subchapters. The company ranks among the biggest manufactures of a poultry meat in the Czech republic. The primary aim of this thesis is to detect and review key attributes, which are affecting or even are capable of having an influence on company market value as of 1st of January 2014. Market value were set according to International Valuation Standards (IVS). The business valuation is primarily determined by two methods. The first main method known as discounted cash flow analysis (DCF) in the form of adjusted present value approach (APV) is not at all employed in valuation practice, but it is deemed to be some kind of reference method of all DCF forms. Another one, I employ, is called German income approach (German: Ertragswertverfahren -- EWV). Across texts are used statistical methods in conjunction with statistical programme R that tell me help my specified goal.
