Game in Virtual Reality
Čeleďa, Jan ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Najman, Pavel (advisor)
Headsets for virtual reality registered noticeable progress in the last few years in bothavailability for a wider audience and in innovation. New technologies are bringing in a lotof changes and upgrades in the manipulation of user perception with virtual worlds, higherquality image and better power supply. The goal of this work was the creation of an actiongame in virtual reality. It is a simulation of duck hunting with a double-barreled shotgun ina rural environment. During the development, we focused on authentic gun handling andoperation. The headset chosen for this was the HTC Vive. The application is created in afree engine named Unity and is coded in the C# language.
MOOC - Massive Open Online Course - for FIT
Peška, Michal ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes relatively new educational trend - Massive open online course. It is focused on its overall development and evaluation. There are introduced web platforms, which are providing these courses. These platforms are closely specified and there are gathered knowledge about them for use in the rest of this work. Following parts of thesis are focused on design and realization of a tool for collaborative studying in a real-time. This is an experiment to determine, if this concept of education is possible and what means aresuitable for use.
Light Soure with Wireless Control
Martinka, Václav ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design and implement a lighting which can be controlled wirelessy by any user device with Wi-Fi. The bachelor thesis describes the selection of components and their connection. Also describes a library for a Wi-Fi module, a way how to communicate over the network and design a user interface. The result of this thesis is a functional prototype placed on the printed circuit board.
Graphical User Interface for Robot Control
Pakosta, Pavel ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
This project undertakes the creation of a simple GUI for manipulation of a robot. The goal of this project is to provide the user with an elementary device which will later on allow the initiation of ROS programs for the manipulation of a robot, while at the same time not allowing the user to directly interface with the robots system. If there would occur the need to change or interact with the robots programs in any way, a created conducive application will allow the user to add or delete them. Both applications are implemented in the C++ programming language and a Qt interface. The library libssh can establish communication between the robot and the conducive application. The main application is designed for Ondroid xu4 device with OS Ubuntu 16.04.
Cloud-Based Server for Robot Management
Jezerský, Matouš ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Materna, Zdeněk (advisor)
The goal of this project is to make robots running the ROS platform, and the servers running on them, more accessible to the users, without the need of reconfiguration after a change of network or the need of direct VPN connection, as well as with the emphasis on minimal software requirements for both users and robots. The result is an open-source application, which provides that. The solution is a reverse proxy server, put inbetween the clients and the servers running on robots - Dispatcher. For connection between clients and robots, two OpenVPN networks are used, and as a secure user interface, the existing system RMS is used and extended with Dispatcher interface.     Among other things, Dispatcher collects information about all connected robots so a summary can be displayed. This set of software tools therefore allows an authorized user to connect to robots in various networks, without the need of other client software apart of OpenVPN client and web browser.
Light Controlled by Microcomputer with Wireless Interface
Kéry, Július ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
Light is a part of human life since birth. Therefore, it is logical, that today's technologies tried to use this aspect of our life at different levels up to the possibility of wireless control. Today, at every step, we can see the results of human effort. Traffic lights and lamps serving as security measures, advertising boards that create interest in people. Light is also used as a means of treating people with various problems and illnesses - light therapies.
Third Person Roguelike Game in Unity
Moudrý, Daniel ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Milet, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis comprises information about the creation of a third-person roguelike computer game in Unity game engine. At the beginning the work explains what the game is about, then the work describes the principles of the games functioning and then the implementation in Unity game engine itself in the C# programming language.
Inteligent Video-Player
Sabela, David ; Materna, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kapinus, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis was to create a user interface for displaying interesting or indifferent way significant events from the views of surveillance camera systems. In the first part of the thesis - Theory - technologies useful for the creation of a web application working with video are described. Principles of graphical quality in user interferences are also summarized in this part, as well as explanation of the principal questions of the surveillance camera systems problematics. In the second and third part - Design and Implementation - my own solution of the prototype of inteligent video player is depicted. The resulting prototype is thereafter subjected to examination by several testers whose results are analysedand evaluated in the final part - Testing.
Tool for Family Multimedia Data Management
Černoch, Štěpán ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with a suggestion of a user interface and an implementation of a prototype of a web application, which is aimed to ease sharing multimedia data among the users. In the text are described some of the types of the user interface, ways of web interface formation and an analysis of existing solutions which deals with the same or similar topic. The formation of interface is designated to be used easily and intuitively. The result of the bachelor's thesis is the application which is implemented in PHP programming language using framework Nette, framework Bootstrap and jQuery. Testing and evaluation of the  results is done in the end of the thesis.
Calibration of Robotic Workspace
Uhlíř, Jan ; Veľas, Martin (referee) ; Kapinus, Michal (advisor)
This work is concerned by the issue of calibrating a robotic workplace, including the localization of a calibration object for the purpose of calibrating a 2D or 3D camera, a robotic arm and a scene of robotic workplace. At first, the problems related to the calibration of the aforementioned elements were studied. Further, an analysis of suitable methods for performing these calibrations was performed. The result of this work is application of ROS robotic system providing methods for three different types of calibration programs, whose functionality is experimentally verified at the end of this work.
