Business conditions in the Czech Republic in comparison with EU

This work focuses on small and medium entrepreneurship. Its aim is to analyse the Czech entrepreneur environment based on legislative and on the activity of relevant institutions and to compare Czech conditions to foreign ones, in general and focusing on Germany. The work provides overview of entrepreneur environment in the Czech Republic, follows its development and gives issues of business forms in the Czech Republic, in Germany and on the European Union level. The international indexes and results of my business questionnaire are applied to comparison.

Research of capital structure in business environment of Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis deals with long-term financial funds. The aim of this work is to reflect changes in capital structure of non-financial enterprises in Czech Republic (from 2007 to the first half of 2010) using vertical and horizontal analysis and to compare the basic external financial funds and their use in the market. Capital structure analysis revealed only small differences between the value of equity and debt capital, and also the different structure of smaller firms use more long-term liabilities.From the comparison of market products, it was found that bank loans are the most used for financing business needs, the usage of leasing and factoring declines. Non-financial enterprises do not trade on capital market very much.

Financial analysis of ČEDOK j.s.c.

The main points of this work include the definition of basic methodological procedures for the successful treatment of a financial analysis of a particular company. The next section will constitute the selected company, a travel agency ČEDOK j.s.c. and will apply the above methodology to the business entity. Resulting values will be evaluated and commented so that an added value of this analysis was as high as possible. To gain a better awareness of an economy of travel agencies in the Czech travel market, will be made an inter company comparison with a nearby competitor of ČEDOK, Fischer j.s.c. The next section will constitute this company too and will realize similar analysis, which was performed on ČEDOK. At the same time for each indicator will be compared the results for both travel agencies. For an easier detection of differences in the way of an economy of these companies, the work will be accompanied by graphs for selected indicators of a financial analysis. A conclusion of this analysis also offers a global summary of results and a realization of a particular final evaluation.

Bachelor`s thesis is focused on financial analysis of company Pivovary Staropramen, a.s. At first, the developement of company during years 2005 -- 2009 is evaluated alone by vertical and horizontal analysis. Then, there is spatial resolution based on choosed financial indicators, which are explained in theoretical part. In this spatial resolution, the company is compared with two other czech brew-house companies: Budějovický Budvar, n.p. and Plzeňský Prazdroj, a.s. At the conclusion, there is short SWOT analysis and overall assessment of the company.

Third part is focused on typical problems connected with the financing of the public train transport and on the analysis of the "financial health" of České dráhy, a. s. At the end of this bachelor's thesis the basic economic and financial indicators are compared with Austrian company ÖBB Group and Slovak company Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko, a. s.

The aims thesis is a financial analysis of the construction company SYNER Ltd. The thesis is divided into three thematic sections. The first block begins with the prezentation the analyzed company. In the second block is defined procedure and methodology of the indicators. Final part is a practical section that contains the analysis and interpretation of the calculated indicators and ending with little SWOT analysis.

This thesis is focused on the analysis of economic activity and creation of financial plan Partizánske Building Components-SK s.r.o. The work is divided into three parts. The first part is based on methodology and it defines the indicators used in financial analysis. The second part is more extensive and it consists of the characteristics of the company, also the indicators of profitability, liquidity and stability are applied on the company. In conclusion there is an outline of a short-term financial plan for the year 2011, that consists of planned profit and loss statement and balance sheet.

Bachelor thesis "Financial Analysis of Pilsner Urquell, Inc." is composed into two sections. First part, is methodical part, which describes methods of financial analysis used in this assignment. The second part, is the implemention of the methods described in the first section with real world examples by using comparison approach; and comparing the subject company to it's peers within the same industry. Final part, concludes the analysis by presenting overall results, and includes recommendation for improving financial health of the company.

Financial analysis of Ferona, a. s.

This thesis deals with the financial analysis of Ferona company between 2005 and 2009. It is divided into three parts. The first part is methodological and describes indicators, models and methods that will be used after. Next part contains an introduction of the company and in the last part is the methodological knowledge applied to the Ferona (the horizontal and vertical analysis of the balance sheet, the income statement, the analysis of the ratio indicators and bankruptcy models). The company is compared within the holding and the average of the industry. There are SWOT analysis and overall assessment of the reporting company at the end of the thesis.
