Analysis, assessment and management of risks of process
Kaplan, Miloslav ; Balgová, Zuzana (referee) ; Hrabová, Kristýna (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with risk management associated with a construction company. The main goal is to analyze possible risks, asses their magnitude, and propose measures that mitigate the overall risk. For construction companies, it is crucial to mitigate risk, especially from the point of view of safety, but attention must also be paid to the quality of contracts, their timely fulfilment, and the overall profitability of the company. The evaluation of these important attributes is processed using FMEA analysis, and one selected risk is displayed graphically using the Bow tie method. The result is the analysis of possible risks for the internal and external aspects of the company as well as for interested parties with the design of countermeasures to reduce the level of risk. The partial goal of the work is to assess whether the company complies with all legislative regulations. This is processed through the assessment of compliance with legislation.

Risk Assessment of Textile Waste Management
Šindlerová, Vanesa ; Vymazal, Tomáš (referee) ; Hrabová, Kristýna (advisor)
This thesis deals with environmental risks arising from textile waste management. The introduction describes the context of textile problematics and maps the current situation of textile waste management. The main goal of this thesis is to determinate the environmental risks of low percentage of recycling. Recycling is one way of dealing with textile that mitigates the impact on the environment. For the evaluation of the causes and consequences of the researched problem are used Bow-tie analysis and Ishikawa’s diagram. The results of the work bring environmental risks resulting from the application of those selected methods. Part of the thesis is a questionnaire that evaluates the individual’s attitude to textiles. Results of the questionnaire reveals that not needed textiles are perceived as risk to the environment. At the same time, consumer behavior does not correspond with efforts to mitigate the identified impacts.

Risk Asessment of Construction and Demolition Waste
Repka, Matej ; Láník, Jaromír (referee) ; Hrabová, Kristýna (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with the assessment of risks associated with construction and demolition waste. These are risks mainly related to environmental protection, safety and health protection of workers handling construction waste on the construction site, as well as technical aspects of the use of recyclates. The tools selected for this thesis to identify and analyse the risks are cause and effect analysis (Ishikawa diagram) and bow-tie type analysis. For the assessment of the identified risks, the methods selected are the risk matrix and then the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), which also deals with the design of measures for each problem, which aim to minimize the probability of occurrence and impact of the identified risks. Thus, the aim of the thesis is to identify, assess and analyse the risks and determine simple measures to eliminate or mitigate them.

New opportunities for the use of concrete structures sustainability assessment tools for a forensic engineering
Hrabová, Kristýna ; Kuda,, František (referee) ; Prostějovská,, Zita (referee) ; Vymazal, Tomáš (advisor)
In recent years, the European Union has been working to revise its climate, energy, and transport legislation to align existing legislation with the goals set for 2030 and 2050. These ambitions are closely related to the principles of sustainability. A growing population places increasing demands on the environment. Thus, improving living standards without damaging the environment is becoming a global challenge. The construction industry is an important segment of the world economy and contributes to environmental pollution. The concrete industry can also be counted among the main producers of CO2 emissions. The future of concrete construction design will be linked to new but also ongoing transformations of our society. The rapidity, speed, and frequency of the changes that are being implemented will also create a new urgency for knowledge and methodology in this field, whether for concrete producers, designers, or forensic experts. The focus of this thesis is the need to respond to new requirements in the field of concrete structures. In June 2016, the fib board approved activities to start working on the development of an updated fib Model Code 2020 (MC2020). This Model Code 2020 will form the source of new versions of the relevant Eurocodes and ISO standards, with sustainability as a fundamental requirement. Therefore, the design of a structure will now have to take into account not only durability considerations but also performance and overall environmental impact. Therefore, the dissertation focuses on the analysis of new trends in concrete structures to categorize the areas of change that may occur. The thesis deepens understanding of the areas of change as well as the methods of evaluation of building materials and concrete structures. Based on the identified shortcomings of the methods to assess the sustainability of materials, a sustainability indicator for CSB has been proposed. The changes brought about by the new fib Model Code 2020, whether in terms of performance-based design, use of recycled materials, or optimization of structures, may lead to defects and failures in building structures and new types of legal dispute for which there are no algorithms for resolution. In this paper, modern devices used for defectoscopy of defects and failure of concrete structures are also described.
Use of Non-Destructive Methods and Regression Equation in Diagnostics of Building
Olejková, Sabina ; Hrabová, Kristýna ; Masařík, Dominik
Due to the increasing number of reconstructions of historic buildings in recent years, the importance of more enviromentally friendly non-destructive methods is also growing. In the future, it would be appropriate to establish relationship or compare the results of non-destructive tests and destructive tests. This relationship would determine the degree of risk (constant or deviation) if only destructive methods were chosen in the diagnosis of building structures. This could mean a major shift in non-destructive testing. If would be both a more enviromentally friendly variant of testing building structures with regard to the enviroment.
