Static and dynamic footbridge analysis
Jankovičová, Soňa ; Lang, Rostislav (referee) ; Martinásek, Josef (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is static and dynamic analysis of the load-bearing steel structure of footbridge with reinforced concrete bridge deck, standing over the Morava river. Bridge was designed as a solid ribbed arch, so it consists of a pair truss beams, strengthen by two steel arches with suspenders. There were created two different models, one in program SCIA Engineer, where the individual elements were designed as spatial bars. In the second model, they were created as surface elements. For such model, it was more appropriate to use ANSYS Mechanical APDL program. The load and selected combinations are calculated manually according to valid national standardization documents. Furthermore, this thesis contains manual calculations of stress. The results are compared with computing programs to determine the correct functioning of the models. In the next part, the work is devoted to static and dynamic analysis, where it compares the results of the mentioned two model situations.
Nonlinear static and dynamic analysis of a high-rise building model on the effects of earthquakes
Puža, Martin ; Martinásek, Josef (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the calculation of the response of structures for seizmic loads by linear and nonlinear methods with subsequent comparison of results. The method of lateral forces is used for linear calculation. Particular examples are analyzed nonlinearly by using pushover method. The comparison of both methods is carried out according to the analytical calculation with softwares RFEM 5.30 and Midas Gen for certain constructions.
Static analysis of the roof
Hořínek, Josef ; Vlk, Zbyněk (referee) ; Martinásek, Josef (advisor)
The Bachelor Thesis focuses on a static analysis of a timber roof truss. This roof trust is part of the saddle roof on the family home. The load on the structure is calculated manually according to valid standards. The load is divided into a total of 11 load cases. The calculation model of the structure is created in RFEM. Results of internal forces and deformations are checked by manual calculation using methods for statically indeterminate structures. These values are compared at the end.
Static analysis of railway bridge
Bureš, Vojtěch ; Martinásek, Josef (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the static analysis of a railway bridge. Using AxisVM X6 software, I created 4 different models and compared them not only with each other, but also with simple manual calculations. Two models are beam models, the third is shell model, the fourth is also shell but with an end ledge that reinforces the entire structure. The structures are loaded by a manually calculated load according to the standard.
Static Analysis of chosen Structure
Dvořák, Kamil ; Hokeš, Filip (referee) ; Martinásek, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deal with static analysis of structure. The solution construction is a footbridge. The footbridge will be bult in the train station Adamov. Structural design will be done using software. The chosen computioal model will be compared with hand calculation.
Static analysis of suspension bridge variants
Zavřelová, Michaela ; Martinásek, Josef (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the static analysis of individual models of suspension footbridges. A manual calculation of the cable was processed. The actual position of the cable was determined by calculation. The manual calculation was compared with the RFEM calculation program. Furthermore, the models were loaded with manually calculated loads. The bachelor's thesis deals with the influence of pylon deflection on the global deformations of cable and bridge deck during individual load cases and combinations. For one of the models, the optimization of construction was processed.
Static analysis of the lookout tower
Šoupalová, Kristýna ; Martinásek, Josef (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the static analysis of the steel construction of the lookout tower in the shape of a helix. Two 3D models, which differs in the way the columns are modeled, were made with RFEM 5.25 software by Dlubal company. The models are loaded with the calculated loads and afterwards the results of both models are compared. There are also a third 3D model, which includes surfaces. This model is put to a wind tunnel through Dlubal RWIND software. Then the comparison of the wind loads calculated according to the valid standard and the RWIND results is made.
Static Analysis of chosen Structure
Jankovičová, Soňa ; Vlk, Zbyněk (referee) ; Martinásek, Josef (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on static analysis of the steel footbridge, inspired by real footbridge over the Morava river. Bridge was designed as a solid ribbed arch, so it consists of a pair truss beams, reinforced by two steel arches with suspenders. A similar model is created the SCIA Engineer program. The total length of the footbridge is 137,5 m in projection and the highest point of bridge is 9,13 m. This bachelor thesis is processed according to valid standards. The structural load is calculated manually. Furthermore, some known methods are used to calculate statically indeterminate structures to find internal forces. For these calculations, is used a simplified bar model standing on four point supports. Afterwards, the results are compared.
Seismic analysis of structure with residual modes
Včelný, Michal ; Martinásek, Josef (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with the possibility of using the residual shape with help of the structural analysis software SCIA Engineer in the calculation of seismic load. Residual shape will be used in combination with CQC and SRSS calculation method, including different numbers of own shapes and the oscillated mass. In the last step, the results will be compared with each other.
Static analysis of steel structure
Hrubá Šintálová, Klára ; Martinásek, Josef (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the static analysis of the steel construction of the lookout tower in the shape of a digit seven consisting of two parts which mutually affect each other. The 3D model of the construction was created in the program RFEM by company Dlubal which uses a finite element method for the calculations. Moreover, the program RWIND Simulation was used to arrive at the calculations in the cooperation with analysis of the construction via wind tunnel method. The construction is assessed according to the valid standards. The selected elements of the construction are manually assessed and compared with the parts of the calculation model.
