Electrohydrodynamic Model Of Electron Microscope
Mačák, Martin
This work presents a complex multiphysics model of an electron microscope in ANSYSFluent software. A custom electromagnetic model was used to describe the relativistic transport ofelectrons. The model consisted of a description of an electromagnetic field, relativistic transport ofcharged particles and interactions between charged particles and solid materials. Presented resultssuggest, that the custom model can be coupled with the CFD module, which results in a possibilityof coupled simultaneous simulations of hydrodynamics, electromagnetics, and a transport of chargedparticles.
Numerical Modelling Of Li-S Chemistry
Mačák, Martin
This work presents a custom electrochemical model of a lithium-sulfur cell implemented into Ansys Fluent software. The model was used to analyse cyclic voltammetry at differently sized particles, which represented porous cathodes. The results indicate that the cyclic voltammetry response of the whole porous sulfur cathode could be solved as a response of a single particle, which might lead to a simplification of numerical simulations and in result, to accelerating their optimizing process.
Monitoring system of a small wind power plant
Šmol, Vojtěch ; Mačák, Martin (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the design of the monitoring system of small wind power generator with the use of platform Arduino and external modules. Small wind turbine is implemented using the 3D printing method.
Numerical Analysis Of A Mass Separator
Mačák, Martin
The presented work investigates numerical approach to the movement of charged particles. Custom model describing electromagnetic forces on particles was created and implemented into ANSYS FLUENT. This model was then used for a simulation of a simplified version of a mass separator. Results were then compared to the theoretical results which were closely comparable.
Smart home control unit with Raspberry Pi
Sedlařík, Marek ; Mačák, Martin (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the issue of smart home controlled primarily by voice. The thesis introduces this technology, with its development and with trends it is heading to. It contains description of IoT architecture, communication and transmission technology. The attributes and use of the single-board minicomputer Raspberry Pi are described and compared with individual models. The large part of this thesis deals with the design of control unit for smart home system, which will consist of suitable components and microcomputer Raspberry Pi with operating system Raspbian, where the virtual assistant Amazan Alexa is integrated. The last part deals with the design, modeling and printing of a plastic cover for a intelligent speaker.
Application of graphite in thermal management of microelectronics
Práce začíná vysvětlením současných metod chlazení a výzev v oblasti mikroelektroniky. Poté přechází k běžně používaným materiálům - hliníku a mědi a přidává do výběru i uhlíkové alotropie.
Editor of Relational Tables
Macák, Martin ; Urbanovský, Pavel (referee) ; Šárfy, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with aspects of using the common, universal relational table editor as a simple information system, which would be fully independent on the underlying database system and partially independent on the underlying's database schema. One part of this thesis deals with potential of using such universal information system to create a framework to allow fast and easy development of small and medium information systems. The practical part of this thesis is the application, which implements the basics of simple relational table editor, which is fully independent on the underlying database provider and schema and servers as the demonstrative table editor.
Load tests of non-IT parts of data centers
Víteček, Aleš ; Mačák, Martin (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
The thesis "Load testing of non-IT parts data centers" deals with the theoretical analysis of data centers with a focus on non-IT part and theoretical preparation for measuring stress tests focused mainly on cooling. The theory is followed by a practical part of the PEC measurement by CATEGORY a.s .. This sample measurement carried out at the company premises clearly outlines the importance of performing similar tests. The measurement is thoroughly evaluated and suggestions are made to improve the operation. The next part of the practical part contains simulation of sample measurement. This simulation serves as a convenient addition and comparison. Also this simulation, the importance of similar stress tests can be justified.
Testing of selected material properties for 3D printing
Čáslavský, František ; Mačák, Martin (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with 3D printing, materials used for 3D printing, testing of the materials and learning their real parameters. Goal of the thesis is comparing selected materials, executing series of mechanical test and selecting suitable material for printing high-quality plastic parts for use in automobiles, especially for reproduction of parts that are no longer made for oldtimers and for use in motorsport.
