This research was conducted simultaneously in the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, and Slovakia, and asked respondents what would be their country's contribution to the European Union. There was a broad range of possible answers, from economic and political to cultural and value-based. The report compares individual nations in terms of their critical evaluations of themselves.

The Decision-Making Process of Voters in the First European Elections

The press release analyses the declared number of voters in the first elections of the European Parliament at the end of 2004, and the reasons that helped people decide which party to vote for in these elections. The reasons are presented to respondents both in comparision with the decisions in the national elections and specifically in relation to the European elections. In conclusion, election ballot decisions are analysed.
