This master´s thesis is devoted to evaluating the financial situation of the company Sklárny Moravia, a.s. using selected indicators of financial analysis. The first part deals with the problems of the theory of financial analysis, its objectives, methods and formulas, which are the basis for processing the second part of the thesis. The practical part includes a financial analysis of the selected company and its evaluation. In the last section provides suggestions to improve the situation of the company based on financial analysis.

This bachelor thesis aims to assess the financial situation of the company Mikro Trading a.s. for the period 2011-2015. The thesis is divided into four parts. The goals of this study are defined in the first part. The second, theoretical, part provides a description and critical evaluation of various methods of financial statement analysis. In the third part, financial analysis of the company is carried out using the methods of financial statement analysis described in the theoretical part. The final conclusion proposes recommendations that could lead to an improvement of the financial situation of the company.

This bachelor´s thesis evaluates the financial situation of OHL ŽS, a.s. in the period 2009 – 2013. The first part defines the theoretical foundations of financial analysis methods, instruments, indicator and methods of use. In the second part of the paper there is practical use of financial analysis in the company. On the basis of received data, recommendations which should lead for improving the financial status of the company, are suggested.

The bachelor thesis deals with financial analysis of company in period 2006 to 2010. The thesis is divided into two parts, to theoretical and the practical one. In the beginning of theoretical part of the work are defined hypothesis and later are described financial analysis, its implements and methods. In the practical part is performed the analysis of accounting documents used for vertical and horizontal analysis, as well as the analysis by financial ratio indicators. Based on the given analysis the improvements of the company’s current situation will be proposed.

On the basis of theoretical knowledge and financial analysis company will propose options for improving the overall financial situation of the company. Company Analysis will be carried out in 2011 - 2015.

The bachelor thesis analyses the financial situation in a selected company. The theoretical part characterises the determinants used in the analysis. Furthermore, it describes and explains methods of financial analysis. The practical part applies the methods to the selected company. It draws conclusions and proposes ways of improvement on the basis of the results obtained by the analysis. The implementation of the proposals should lead to the improvement of the company’s financial situation as well as increase its financial stability.
