Analysis of punches in top boxing competitions

Title: Analysis of punches in top boxing competitions Objectives: The main objective of this work was to analyze the total number of punches, their efficiency and the use of punches on the body at two weight categories. The specific categories studied were velterweight and light heavyweight. Methods: An observation method was used to create statistics from watched videos. Two consecutive World championships served as a data source. The first one took place in 2013 in Almaty, the second two years later in Doha. MS Excel was used to process data. Results: It was found that more active in terms of attacks was the weight category up to 69 kg, but not more successful. More precise hits have been used by the light heavyweight category. The most commonly used technique was a direct followed by a hook and uppercut. Punches to the body were in the sum total of about 12 % and they were much more effective than strikes to head. Title: Keeping and reducing weight in the boxing Aims: The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out which methods are used for sustain or reduction of boxers' weight in various weight classes. If this process affects their power, and which intervals they begin the reduction before the fight in. Methods: The observation as the quantitative method was used on the basis of public inquiry. Results: It follows that boxers use shorter and more intensive methods for their weight reduction rather than slow and careful methods for their organisms. Moreover, two thirds of respondents experience some changes in consequence of sustaining and reducing the weight. The majority of respondents mentioned they get the information how to sustain and reduce the weight in accordance with their own consideration. Title: Common boxing injuries Objectives: Description of the causes of injuries and summarize the common frequent injury in training and matches of amateur and professional boxing. Methods: In this work was used the scientific method of the questionnaire and subsequent evaluation of analytical and synthetic data. Data analysis method was used in the theoretical part, which analyzed the literature and empirical part where the points were analyzed questionnaire, based on the graphical representation. Synthetic method was used to compare different points of the questionnaire and discussion work.In the study subjects are evaluated frequency of injuries in boxing, the causes of injuries and recovery time. Results: Through a questionnaire survey it was found that most frequently injury takes place a injury of the facial part of boxer's head. It was found 57% of all injuries in boxing in the facial part and it is a minor abrasions or bruises that do not affect the athlete's performance. Keywords: box, injury, joint, contest
Technical advancement of representative in kickboxing

Title: Technical maturity of a kickbox representative Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is to determine the level of technical maturity of each adult kickbox representative, whether it is dedicated to semi-contact or full-contact disciplines. Another objective is to compare three views on the technical maturity of each representative, according to the representative himself and two state coaches. Then to compare representatives of semi-contact disciplines with representatives of full-contact disciplines in selected techniques of strikes and kicks. In conclusion, it will be ascertained how men and women see their technical maturity. Methods: In my thesis I used a method of analysis and the comparison method. I applied the analysis method in analyzing and describing the individual technical preparation of each representative. Information about the technical maturity was obtained on the basis of a questionnaire. I used the comparison method in the comparison of the representative himself and the opinions of the two state coaches. Then I used it in comparison of representatives of semi-contact disciplines and representatives of full-contact disciplines in techniques of strikes and kicks. Title: Comparison and characterization of Korean martial arts Taekwon-do ITF and Taekwondo WTF Objectives: In this work will be examined charakteristic of sport disciplines, philosophy, success in competitions of czech competitiors Methods: For the development of this theses was used a method of gathering information of these two federations of Czech and foreign literature. Results: It was found that Taekwon-do ITF is a martial art, which consists five sport's disciplines and our representatives from year 2000 at european championships won 237 and at world championships won 61 medals. WTF Taekwondo is a combat sport and the main discipline is Kyorugi (sparring). Kyorugi is the Olympics. Our representatives in WTF Taekwondo from year 2000 won only 5 medals at european champinships. Name: Development of mixed martial arts in Czech republic Objectives: The purpose of this thesis is to analyze wide public audience in the Czech Republic and its awarenessof martial arts and sports in general. The thesis will be mainly focused on martial art called MMA. Finding general information about the clubs involved in MMA in the Czech Republic , for example: How long they work, how many members they like. In theoretical part deals with the history and development of combative martial arts , both in the Czech Republic and abroad. The research , part two analyzes conducted polls. Methods Quantitative research, Method questionnaire survey. Results The survey showed that the general public people in the Czech Republic has a relatively high knowledge of martial arts and MMA . In the second survey questioned MMA clubs shows that most MMA clubs operating in the Czech Republic for more than 10 years , have more than 100 members , aged 21-45let . Title: A FOUNDATION PLAN OF KARATE SPORT CLUB Aims: The aim is to explain how to establish a karate sport club in new terms of foundation of associations. Another goal is the application of the theoretical knowledges to a chosen karate club Red Dragon Team (RDT) and to design options how to improve its functioning. Methods: Based on expert literature and texts research, a study has been produced which describes basic terms and ways of analysis execution. The SWOT analysis of the current state of the inner and outer environment of the RDT sports clubwas used in the second section of this document. Results: The work provides comprehensive guide describing the particular steps for founding of a new association in practice. The work is proposing a solution based on the SWOT analysis to eliminate possible deficiencies and how to better use the potential of the club RDT. Titel: Evolution and current state of combatives systems in Prague Goals: The purpose of this work is to present current state of combatives systems in Prague (Prague 4, 5, 6), to focus on data collecting of selected devisions, to create a list of these devisions together with the map of their locations. To process statistically all obtained data and to answer research hypotesis and questions. To delineate shortly the current state of works out comes on same purpose, which were processed in Moravia. Methods: Literature and electronic sources studying. Data collecting by questionnaires sent to heads of devisions. Answering the questions during phone calls or meetings. Informations are written up by scientific software program Microsoft Excel. Results: The list and map of combatives systems , which have the office or the gym in city parts Prague 4, 5, 6, was created after processing all available sources (questionnaires, internet, meetings). Title: Application and Verification of a Self-defence Program for Patients in a Psychiatric Hospital Objectives: The aim of this thesis is application of a self-defence program, created in a bachelor thesis, during an addiction treatment in Červený Dvůr, a psychiatric hospital. The thesis surveys the suitability of the educational program during addiction treatment, verification of acquired motoric skills and its possible integration in patients' free time, recommendation of the exercise to friends, and last but not least it surveys a possible interest in the program in other psychiatric hospitals. Methods: There are several methods used in the thesis. Content analysis is used for working with literature, interview is used in the conversation held with the department head and the custodian. Observation is used for watching the participants doing the exercise. Comparing is used for evaluation of the final outputs. Opinion poll is used for finding the asset of the educational program. Basic statistic methods are used for evaluating the answers in the opinion polls. Objective: Describing of combats, history of trained combat systems (in the region of Kolín and Kutná Hora) in the Czech Republic, obtaining information about individual clubs and processing them. Methods: The information for this work were obteined by research in above mentioned districts.
