Currency pairs and their development

The main objective of this work is to estimate and determinate methods to use when analyzing future development of exchange rate. The main goals have been achieved by a summary of past developements and listing of important elements that shaped the past and are shaping the present and also the future. Than followed the theoretical part, without that knowledge, we could not get through. I started from the definition of a currency pair, forex, macroeconomic effects, which are shapping the exchange rate more or less influence over the definitions of the market. This was followed by theoretical models of fundamental analysis, which aim to determine the exchange rate. I also added a technical analysis to fundamental analysis and in practical part. I fill real data in theoretical background and I try to determine the future exchange rate.

Business plan of following development of Golf Hrádek, s.r.o.

The aim of diploma thesis is to evaluate the position of a small company offering services in a golf courses market. Following aims are to show reference both in short run investments and strategic investments. The main tools used in the document are the Porter's five forces, the SWOT analysis, and the analysis of criterions matrix. The output of the diploma statement is that the small company is strongly fixed in the market of golf services. The short term strategic recomendation is to focus on the needs of the target market customers as well as to increase the quality of the services and the golf environment. The main long term strategic recomendation is to rebuilt the old devastated building near by chateau Hrádek u Nechanic into a hotel and restaurant belonging to the golf course. This reconstruction needs to be funded with EU grants at least by 27% of the total cost, therefore by 30.922.000,- CZK.

Analýza výkonnosti International Power Opatovice, a.s.

Cílem práce bylo analyzovat finanční zdraví a výkonnost IPO, a.s. v období 2001-2005. K rozboru byly využité klasické metody finanční analýzy a další statistické metody (souhrnné indexy úrovně a množství). Růst tržeb je způsoben především obecným růstem energie v makroekonomickém měřítku. Výsledky finanční analýzy sice nejsou vynikající, nicméně, když uvažujeme regulaci odvětví a náročnost výroby, dají se výsledky zhodnotit jako uspokojitelné. Rentabilita s aktivitou obecně rostou za poklesu likvidity a zvýšení zadluženosti. Společnost přešla na moderní styl řízení, který se promítl i do podnikových financí
