Specific Features and Shortcomings of Contractual Obligations in International Transport, and the Establishment and Facilitation of Conditions Required by Goods Transportation Methods

This work deals with the specifics of relations between entities in the negotiation and implementation of international transport of goods. Since he is currently the most common way of transport of goods in Central Europe freight road transport of goods, the text is mainly dedicated to this issue. The underlying code for the obligations in this respect, the Convention CMR, which is devoted to a large part of the work. In other parts of the work is also introduced to the TIR Convention, the ADR Agreement concerning the international carriage of dangerous goods and the ATP Agreement, which defines the requirements for the transport of perishable foodstuffs. In the end, understand that INCOTERMS clauses with international trade and international transport of goods is closely related.
Evaluation of Technical and Economic Parameters for the Expansion of Electronic Toll Collection in the Czech Republic

The work evaluated on the basis of commonly available data some of the implications of collection toll of highway D1 and D5. It focuses on identifying potential alternative routes by using statistics of national traffic census. On these routes it evaluates the changes of traffic safety, which can show the change of traffic intensity of trucks. Next part evaluates potential economic benefits of bypassing toll routes. In the end it notes possible scenarios of impacts extended toll zones to the above fact findings.
Analysis of Conditions for Cabotage in Road Haulage in Selected EU Country

The thesis describes conditions for carrying out cabotage in road freight transport, in comparison to current and past development at the EU level, and in transport policy of the EU described in the primary law. The most current changes at the field of cabotage are a good precondition for the future growth of this type of transport. The issue of cabotage could be described in three groups of topics, the first being the unified EU regulations of cabotage and conditions set for carrying out cabotage, the second concerns topics, that are similar in every EU country due to harmonization of national law, for example the payment of VAT, admission to the occupancy of road haulier or technical conditions for vehicles. The third group deals with matters that are different in every EU country, e.g. toll systems. Carrying out cabotage is therefore to be adjusted to all aforesaid conditions, which have a direct influence to the economical background of cabotage transports.
The Development of Container Transport Within the Intermodal Transport System Between the Czech Republic and Slovenia

The dissertation is primary targeted aplication these systems, transport in progress between Czech Republic and port of Koper, detection of extension benefits of using intermodal transport for security operation in traffic on surface communications.
Evaluation of Legislative Regulations for Special Road Transport Between the Czech Republic and the Balkan Peninsula

This thesis is focused on analysis of the legislative regulations for special road transportation between Czech Republic and the Balkan Peninsula. In this work, special transportation stands for heavy and bulky costs that exceed the maximum limits. To carry out such transportations, following the legal standarts of each state where the intended destination is (Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo and Macedonia), is needed. The work is divided into chapters that deal with these issues and provide an overview of the legal standards which must be fulfilled in these particular states. The result of this thesis is to provide the necessary information to Czech transporter to perform these special transportations.
Evaluating the Need for Truck Centres on the D1 Motorway between Prague and Brno

This diploma thesis deals with a design of truck-centres count and location near the motorway D1. This design is a result of aspects which can influent truck-centres‘ count, size and location. There are derived the aspects on the basis of calculation of freight transport intensity till the year 2030 and its concurrence to accident frequency, traffic flow regulation, and also its concurrence to management of personnel labour (AETR), means of eventual maintenance need and means of vehicles’ reparation, services for motorway attendants and finally its concurrence to possibilities of controls by public authorities and police. In order to regulate freight transport traffic flows is calculated size of parking spaces and suggested their appropriate locations.
Evaluation of Legislative Regulations for Special Road Transport between the Czech Republic and Post-Soviet Countries

he theme of this work is the issue of international transport, transport costs in implementing the dimensions and weight exceeds the maximum specified value. Emphasis is placed mainly on road safety, which is ensured by legislative provisions governing the conditions for the transport of oversized cargo. In particular, a variety of security measures such as coordination of the operation with the requirements of different organizations, or for the fees and charges for exceeding the limit size and weight. The benefit of this document will become an overview of the legal standards applicable to the various destinations (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus), for Czech carrier use. Using this information, should be provide quality transportation services for oversized shipments.

he project evaluates legislative regulations for special road transport between the Czech Republic and Northern Europe. The main purpose of the project is to formulate a basic methodology for non-standard shipment’s transit. Work observes destination of the Czech Republic - Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. There exist differences in legislative conditions for the particularly heavy and oversized loads transport in these countries. The main objective is to evaluate these conditions and recommend utilization for Czech carriers. The thesis aims to enumerate the various national legal standards for excessive transportation and recommend implementation outputs for correct and a quick orientation in the rights and obligations during executing carriage for the Czech carriers. The basic metodology how to transport oversized loads results from this project.
