Biomass as renewable energy resources

Bachelor’s thesis deals with an exploitation of a biomass as an energy carrier and the manners of obtaining this energy. Currently the most widely used methods of conversion of the biomass to various forms of energy, from burning to anaerobic digestion are described here. This work adverts to use the biomass not only in energetics, but also in the transport industry, as alternative fuel of vehicle engines. It describes not only the production of bioethanol from organic material, but also the techniques of hydrogen production as the fuel of future, and its use in fuel cells.

This bachelor thesis deals with our legislative standards and legal laws, which adjust dealing with clinical waste. It also describes how to prevent its occurance. There is handling and logistics of the clinical waste describes in this thesis too. The greatest part of this thesis deals with decontamination of clinical waste and it describes common decontamination processes and machines as well.
The utilization of waste from electrical and electronical equipments

This work deals with processing electric and electronic devices, which are marked as WEEE. It contains legislative frame of processing electric and electronic devices. Then it describes basic technology of processing electrowaste. The separative processes during the recyclation of WEEE are highlighted because of the electrowaste material complexity. There is also the possibilty of using material obtained from WEEE to prepare chemicals for the wood and other material protection which is mentioned in the final part of thesis.
