Statistical analysis of the Moravian distillery Kojetin

Bachelor thesis evaluates economical development of business activities of Moravian Distillery Kojetin join-stock company in years 2004 - 2012 and later on after acquisition implementation, when this distillery was bought by Tereos TTD join-stock company from Dobrovice, in years 2012 - 2014. Distillery company deals with production of refined fermented alcohol. Several selected indicators of revenues, production, added values, power consumption, assets and liabilities are reviewed on the basis of statistical and financial analysis. The length of the time period of the individual indicators vary according to the availability of data. Statistical analysis is compiled by computing the elementary characteristics of time series. Financial analysis uses ratios of liquidity. The data used in this analysis comes from balance sheets and profit and loss reporting period. On the basis of these analyzes are presented suggestions and recommendations, which should contribute to improving the situation of the distillery company.
Analysis of unemployment of graduates

Bachelor thesis is aimed on analysis of the evolution of unemployment of graduates in years 2005 to 2015. Unemployment of graduates is examined using indicators of unemployment. Data are classified according to the degree studies, study orientation, residence, gender, work experience and length of unemployment, in order to determine the impact of factors affecting graduate unemployment Theoretical part contains definitions of basic concepts to the labor market and unemployment. There is explained the national employment policy, defined Czech higher education and explanation of certain factors affecting unemployment. The practical part is based on data from the Centre for Educational Policy and the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. Data are analyzed using the methods of time series analysis. For indicators showing a trend is determined by predictions of further development. In conclusion, the analysis results are evaluated and measures are designed to reduce graduate unemployment.
Analysis of expenditures of czech households

This thesis deals with monitoring the development and structure of Czech households spending between 1994 and 2014, and then determines the most significant causes of changes which significantly influence the amount of expenditure in the period. Relevant data for the elaboration of the thesis was collected from the Czech Statistical Office, which includes all types of households and used for time series analysis. Then, secondly, the prediction was made in the total expenditures of Czech households, but also the various categories of COICOP (Classification of Individual Consumption by Purpose) for the years 2015, 2016 and 2017. The most important categories include spending on food and non-alcoholic beverages and the cost of housing, water, energy and fuel costs, and these are also granted the most attention.
Analysis of the Czech households expenses

Bachelor thesis deals with development of Czech households in years 2002 - 2014 and it also deals with prognosis of development of observed indicators in following years 2015 and 2016. The incomes and expenses of all sorts of households are picked for purposes of this thesis in a way they are included in observation of Czech statistical office according to classification COICOP, which is separated into twelve categories. The thesis is devoted even to changes in structure of expenses of households during the observational period where, evidently, the expenses of households for grocery and living keep growing. The influence of prices has a great influence on structure of expenses and you can see that in consumer conventions of households. These informations are being used not only in political and economical institution, central offices and research workplaces but even in companies of production and service area, non-profit organisations and international organisations.
Analysis of a biofuel use in a truck transport in a selected company

This bachelor thesis is concerned with the comparison between the utilization of biodiesel and diesel as fuel in truck transportation. The thesis contains a theoretical part, which describes primarily the current state of truck transportation in the Czech Republic. It further inquires into current and historic politics of biofuel support, including its impact on state budget. Also described are the most used biofuels, specifically biodiesel, whose comparison with diesel is the main subject of the thesis. The Czech market with biofuels is also discussed. The practical part includes a description of a specific transport company, particularly its vehicle fleet. The results of measurements of biodiesel consumption are further summarized, alongside with the expenses associated with repairs and maintenance of the fuel systems of trucks. This data is analyzed using the tools of mathematical statistics, and the results are evaluated in the thesis.
Česká vědecká stanice v Antarktidě

Na základě dlouholetých aktivit českých vědců v Antarktické oblasti a na základě doporučení významných vědeckých pracovišť, zejména pak pana Dr. Bernarda Stonehause, představitele Polárního institutu university v Cambridge, byl zpracován program projektu výstavby samostatné české vědecké stanice. Stanice je umístěna v polární oblasti na ostrově King George v místě, které svou dostupností umožní vytvoření podmínek pro sezónní systematickou práci patnáctičlennému týmu vědců.

Student House in the Neighbourhood Old Brno
