Design and implementation of a pneumatic educational model
Javorek, David ; Dobossy, Barnabás (referee) ; Najman, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with creating an educational pneumatic model and its subsequent simulation. The research section describes the possibilities and types of control of pneumatic actuators. Furthermore, their modelling in Simulink using Simscape blocks is explained here. In the practical part of the work is given the procedure of creating an educational model, how their control and data collection from sensors is solved. Finally, the modelling of the simulation is explained.

Predictive maintenance with wireless data transfer
Pernica, Michal ; Najman, Jan (referee) ; Dobossy, Barnabás (advisor)
This thesis deals with predictive maintenance and the use of NB-IoT network for its purpose. In the first part of the thesis, the wireless technologies for data transmission are presented, followed by a description of the different types of communication protocols, and lastly, the process of developing predictive maintenance is described. In the second part of the thesis, a server application for predictive maintenance purposes is presented, system control using a microcontroller, the NB-IoT module SIM700E is introduced along with its specifications, connection to the NB-IoT network and implementation of the MQTT protocol. Also, the server software composed of the MQTT broker, Node-Red, Influx DB and Grafana is described. The third section describes the application of predictive maintenance on two devices, namely a thermal chamber and a pneustand. The function of these systems is described, followed by the modifications applied. Afterwards, the fault conditions we want to detect are mentioned and then classifiers are trained to determine the condition. Finally, the control of the systems is redesigned so that it can be done using a microcontroller. Finally, experiments are performed while operating the device and verifying the functionality of predictive maintenance to identify the condition.

Design and manufacture of a two-wheeled unstable robot
Vecheta, Vít ; Dobossy, Barnabás (referee) ; Adámek, Roman (advisor)
The first part of this work contains a review of similar unstable robots, their drives, and control electronics. The practical part of this work focuses on the design and construction of a two-wheeled unstable robot. The first step involves conducting simulations to determine the necessary parameters of motors and other components. These simulations are used to establish the required specifications for the motors and other components. Subsequently, a mechanical design and electronics are developed. The practical section concludes with the proposal of a cascade PID controller for the robot’s control. The final part evaluates the robot’s balance capabilities, identifies design errors, and suggests possible future improvements.

Construction of laboratory model "Ball on Spool"
Pohludka, Jan ; Appel, Martin (referee) ; Dobossy, Barnabás (advisor)
This thesis is primarily about designing laboratory model Ball on Spool. The first part of this thesis describes modelling of the system, calculation of parameters, design of the control and simulation, based on which the requirements for the actuator are determined. Secondly, this thesis outlines the design of physical model based on simulation results. All of the components used are described, together with the electrical circuit. Parameters of the physical model are estimated using measured data from experiments. The last part is about designing a control of physical model and its demonstration. This thesis also includes a user manual.

Construction of educational model "Ball on Stick"
Coufal, Ondřej ; Formánek, Martin (referee) ; Dobossy, Barnabás (advisor)
The goal of this thesis was to create an educational model, which could be used as a demonstration of dynamic model and its regulation for future students of mechatronics. The construction was inspired by a similar construction but with much smaller dimensions where most of components were printed by a 3D printer. Afterwards there was created an electrical scheme and implemented on a printed circuit board. For the whole system was designed a caskade regulation, that makes sure the ball will reach the desired position, which is adjustable.

Odometry of Experimental Vehicle Car4
Štarha, Matěj ; Adámek, Roman (referee) ; Dobossy, Barnabás (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the creation of odometry for experimental vehicle Car4. First, necessary HW and SW improvements are carried out. A research of kinematic model and known algorithms for position estimation is then conducted. Two algorithms are implemented in Matlab and their functionality is verified using simulation followed by tests of the actual trajectory of the vehicle. The goal of this work is to create a basis for any following work on the vehicle, e.g. in autonomous driving.

Development of control electronics for magnetorheological dampers in Formula Student vehicle
Skřivánek, Vladimír ; Dobossy, Barnabás (referee) ; Adámek, Roman (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor thesis is the design of a control board for magnetorheological dampers. The board has to be able to receive input data from a datalogger over the CAN bus. From these data, it has to calculate the required current using a known control algorithm and has to be able to regulate it by feedback using a PI controller. Furthermore, it should be able to measure the temperature of the magnetorheological fluid in the damper to be able to correct the degradation of the damping force due to increasing temperature. Another part of this work is to test the implementation of this control algorithm and measure the F-v characteristics of the magnetorheological damper for different values of current.

Dvořák, Jan ; Brablc, Martin (referee) ; Dobossy, Barnabás (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to acquaint the reader with the areas of predictive maintenance and its algorithms within its prognostic part. The remaining useful life of the system will be determined on the data sets and the performed experiment using prognostic models in accordance with the algorithms described in the research section. MATLAB and its other applications described in the work were used for data processing and modeling.
