DNS Service with Location Information Extension
Veselý, Vladimír ; Matoušek, Petr (referee) ; Čejka, Rudolf (advisor)
Accordingly to spreading of Internet users it is necessary to start solving the problem of optimized client access to key services. DNS service as widely used standard of hierarchy distributed database of all connected devices offers a great options in this branch of IT. My thesis deals with existing extensions of DNS system about location of server or service. Simultaneously informs reader with issues about load balancing and improving network performance.
Multicast Simulation in OMNeT++
Mateleško, Petr ; Veselý, Vladimír (referee) ; Matoušek, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of multicast simulation in OMNeT++ simulator. It describes basic principles of the multicast data transfer and closely focuses on the IGMP protocol in all of its versions. The applied part of this thesis consists of a design and implementation of an IGMP extension module for the OMNeT++ simulator.
High-Level Router Configuration Language
Sekletár, Michal ; Veselý, Vladimír (referee) ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (advisor)
The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to describe a concept of a high-level router configuration language. The proposed language concept is used as a basic in compiler design and implementation which is described in the second part of this thesis. The thesis also contains case study demostrating a practical usage of the proposed language concept and the compiler.
Creating Metadata during Interception of Instant Messaging Communication
Bárta, Stanislav ; Veselý, Vladimír (referee) ; Polčák, Libor (advisor)
This thesis deals with the lawful interception of instant messaging communication and meta-information construction (IRI reports) during an interception. This thesis deals with XMPP, IRC, and OSCAR protocols. Format of messages has been described for each protocol. An application that is able to create IRI messages has been developed and tested in proposed testbed. The work also deals with possible problems that may happen during interceptions.
Fake Data in Computer Networks
Hranický, Radek ; Veselý, Vladimír (referee) ; Polčák, Libor (advisor)
This thesis describes basic principles of lawful interception systems in computer networks and it contains an analysis of various methods of their deception. It also contains a description and implementation of two software tools. The first one is designed to demonstrate an attack on the lawful interception system. The goal is to deceive the system by hiding a transmitted message in a noise, in order to make the law enforcement agency interpret a fake message as the real one. The purpose of the second tool is to obtain the original message from data captured by the interception system.
Instant Messaging Network Analysis and Reconstruction (YMSG and YMSG)
Pluskal, Jan ; Polčák, Libor (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
The goal of this Bachelor's thesis is analysis and reconstruction of network communication using YMSG and ICQ protocols. This paper contains detail description and message structure of these two protocols. Subsequently creation of experimental tool is discussed and used for reconstruction of YMSG communication. Results show that output of this tool is correct with reference to YMSG protocol. Thesis also outlines MS Network Monitor and introduces specialized NPL parsers for YMSG and ICQ.
Instant Messaging Network Analysis and Reconstruction (XMPP and MSN)
Zduba, Andreas ; Polčák, Libor (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
This work is devoted to examining the protocols used for communication between users, and based on the analysis of intercepted communications the most important elements are selected. Output consists of experimental work tool for the reconstruction of the input files and PCAP parser description in the language of NPL for future use.
A Network Control Language for OpenFlow Networks
Antolík, Dávid ; Veselý, Vladimír (referee) ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (advisor)
The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to design and implement a high-level language for declarative configuration of Open-Flow networks. The compiler of the language, data model and interpreter were implemented employing Trema as the underlaying Open-Flow controller. The implementation was tested in a virtual network environment and it was shown that it is fully functional for basic network configurations.
A Tool for Monitoring and Announcing Multicast Multimedia Streams
Dorušák, Petr ; Veselý, Vladimír (referee) ; Skokanová, Jana (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementation of tool for monitoring and announcing of multicast multimedia streams. The aim is to create an application that will monitor the MPEG-TS streams in the specified multicast groups and will inform about their run through the Session Announcement Protocol.
