SMW-2012-14: Research and development of electric vacuum feedthrough by glass seal technology
Vlček, Ivan ; Zobač, Martin
The subject of the project was research and development of the multipin electric vacuum feedthrough. The outcome of the project was design layout of the feedthrough and the technology to produce glass seals, resulting in realization of test series. These produced feedthroughs were successfully tested. The need to solve strong influence of some technological steps on final parameters of glass seals. So it was necessary to repeatedly modify both the design and the technology. The results of the project were summarized in the research report.

SMV-2013-09:Electron Beam Welder MEBW-60/2
Zobač, Martin ; Vlček, Ivan ; Dupák, Jan ; Dupák, Libor ; Kapounek, Petr
License fee from production and sales of the electron beam welder MEBW-60/2, which research and development was conducted at ISI in years 2006-2008. The device is significantly upgraded version of the electron beam welder developed at ISI during past 20 years. It features a working chamber with volume of 7 liters, an electron gun with accelerating voltage of 60 kV. The beam power is fluently adjustable up to 2 kW. For movement of the welded pieces it is possible to use 2-axis motorized manipulator. The control of the welder is fully digital and all functions are available to user through movable control panel. The device includes work table with work area large enough for needed preparatory work. Spatial arrangement is variable so it allows customization in place of installation.

SMV-2013-08: Research and development of electron guns designed for electron beam welding
Zobač, Martin ; Vlček, Ivan
The subject of the project was the research and development of the electron gun for electron beam welding with accelerating voltage 60 kV and maximal power 2 kW. The improvements in functionality and safety in comparison with the previous versions of the gun were reached according to client requirements. The project, characterized by solving problems from different fields (physics, electronics, mechanics, production technologies, measurement), resulted in the realization of several functional prototypes, which were successfully tested in cooperation with the client.
