Applying geographically weighted regression in regional development
ŠINDLER, Milan
This thesis deals with the modelling of applying techniques of ordinary least squares method and geographically weighted regression for all administrative divisions of the Czech Republic using ArcGIS software. In general this thesis introduces a GWR method which partially solves the problems associated with the analysis of spatial data. The research compares benefits of using geographically weighted regression with spatial data compared with linear regression in thesis conclusion.
Effectivity of strategies for data backup
Šindler, Martin ; Ležák, Petr (referee) ; Burda, Karel (advisor)
This bachelor´s project is focused on efficiency of backups using mathematical models, which calculates overall capacity needed for backup and capacity required for complete recovery, it also compares availability of rotation schemes. Models are based on propability of data change in certain time interval specified as backup cycle. Models are implemented to the application, which can be used for choosing the best rotation scheme.
The impact of zooplankton on carp production in Bohelov ponds
ŠINDLER, Martin
Zooplankton dynamics and the changing parameters of pond water in Bohelov ponds was monitored by regular sampling of zooplankton at approximately weekly intervals from April to October 2014 with sampling Schlott-Bauer method in a volume of 20 and 60 liters. The samples were divided into taxonomic groups and species, classified in so-called filterable zooplankton over 500 m. From the pond water parameters was monitored oxygen, pH, temperature, transparency and acid neutralizing capacity and their impact on production in ponds. Control fish out in each month showed a direct correlation with the increase in biomass Common carp (Cyprinus carpio) on the abundance of filterable zooplankton comparing the pond no. 1 and 3. Stocking was fed with feed wheat (Triticum) during the season. The abundance of zooplankton was different in different ponds and gradually changed by increasing fish stocking. A greater abundance of filterable zooplankton of Daphnia - Cladocera and lower species was noticed in the pond no. 1 as in the pond no. 3. With the increasing biomass of fish stocking has been demonstrated reduced of filtrable zooplankton where the number of small zooplankton (< 500 m) ind.l-1. Zooplankton was represented particularly by species Bosmina longirostris, Chydorus sphaericus, Daphnia galeata, D. parvula, D. ambigua. In order copepods - Copepoda were seen mainly nauplius and copepod stages of type Acanthocyclops americanus, rotifers were represented mainly by Brachionus sp. and Polyartha sp.. Increased abundance of filterable zooplankton has a impact on the final amount of biomass of fish stocking expressed by growth SGR (% .day-1) and a reduction coefficient relative FCR. Due to intensive farming combined with farming of poultry during the last decades has been observated accelerated eutrophication process of reducing the size of the littoral zone with a share of macrophytes.
Marketingová studie spokojenosti uživatelů dřevostaveb v Moravskoslezském kraji
Šindler, Miroslav
Marketing studies into the satisfaction of wooden buildings is the name of the work that we will research. Respondents were asked in the Moravian-Silesian Region, where insights and knowledge of perceptions on living in wooden cabins was presented. A survey was carried out using a pre -designed questionnaire in which users answered in four areas: people, wood house, interest and experience. In some parts, respondents answered according to their conscience and without any restrictions. The only condition of the questionnaire was that the approval of the house lying in the MSR had to be from 1995 or earlier. The information that we found will be used to characterize both the population and overall rating of constructions in the Moravian-Silesian territory. In addition, we will evaluate graphs of various parameters. The work can also serve as information for suppliers of wooden structures, since we are dealing with and evaluating parameters that should be taken into account.
Far-infrared magneto-optical measurements of superconducting NbN layer
Koláček, Jan ; Skrbek, L. ; Šindler, M. ; Tesař, Roman
Temperature dependence of far-infrared transmission of thin layer NbN deposited on SiO2 substrate has been measured at frequencies 0.40, 0.65 and 2.52 THz. The zero magnetic field data are in agreement with previous measurements. Additionally, temperature dependent transmission at 0.40 THz for parallel and perpendicular magnetic field orientation with respect to NbN layer from 1 to 10 tesla is reported. In order to interpret our data, we have calculated the transmission of the NbN layer using equations for complex conductivity. For zero magnetic field, the experimental and computed data are in good agreement. With increasing field, however, the experimental data start to deviate from the model prediction that neglects effects due to quantized vortices penetrating the superconductor. When moving, they absorb energy and affect both reflection and transmission. Presently, no way of calculating the complex conductivity in the presence of quantized vortices from the BCS theory is known.
Přechod z laminární do turbulentní odporové síly v proudění vyvolaném vibrujícím křemenným krystalem v normálním a supratekutém heliu
Blažková, Michaela ; Schmoranzer, D. ; Šindler, M. ; Skrbek, Ladislav
The transition from laminar to turbulent drag regime was observed in normal and superfluid helium. This transition is characterized by critical velocity and we showed, that critical velocity scales as ν.sup.1/2./sup., where ν stands for kinematic viscosity.
