This bachelor’s thesis is focused on the analysis of the financial situation of the company , using statistical methods . Importance and use of these methods is described in detail in the theoretical part. The practical part, based on company financial statements are compiled and evaluated selected economic indicators using the software Visual Basic for Application in MS Excel. In conclusion, the financial situation of the company is assessed and some measures are suggested based on the results of the analyzes.

Thesis is focused on CAPM model. Characteristics of five chosen stocks of NASDAQ capital market are calculated using linear regression. Market index S&P 500 is used to represent the market. Calculated values are verbally interpreted. As a presented solution, a program is created in VBA language, that will help the user to convert historical stock data from Yahoo! Finance to form, that can be used for calculations. The program will then use the data to calculate said characteristics. Program is also tested on function and performance using larger amounts of historical data.

Bachelor’s thesis deals with financial analysis of company Pleas a. s. In the first part, several economical indicators are being described, together with the method of calculation and methods used for statistics. In second part theoretical knowledge meets the practical application. Selected economical indicators were used for analysis of the company. Those indicators were further analysed by regression analysis and time series. Purpose of the thesis is to use economical indicators to estimate progress for an upcoming time period. Last part is focused on the evaluation of current financial situation and also it includes several proposals for improvement have been stated.

The practical part deals with the actual analysis of selected economic indicators of company, which will be used to evaluate strengths and weaknesses of the company and try, using statistical methods, to predict future development. This bachelor thesis deals with the processing of financial analysis for the company Rathgeber, k.s., which are used in the selected statistical methods. The thesis is divided into three parts. The theoretical part describes the statistical methods and financial analysis methods that will is used in the next section. The practical part is focused on the actual processing of financial statements to form, we have to draw conclusions and make recommendations. The last part of the thesis proposes solutions to problems that the company faces and also predicts the possible pitfalls and risks of their business.

The goal of my bachelor’s thesis is to valorize economic situation and to predict future development of economic indicators using Statistics. This thesis has two main parts – theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part discusses about methods of financial analysis and principles of time series in statistics. In practical part I will analyze current economic situation and I will try to predict future development. And at the end of the thesis I will try to determine suggestions for improving the deficiency.

This Bachelor´s thesis focuses on the issue of the use of statistical concepts in economics with a focus on financial market in the Czech Republic. Specifically, the work deals with emissions that are included in the Prime Market Index PX and monitored and recorded Stock Exchange in Prague. The essence is the analysis of individual stocks and calculating statistical parameters that should be relevant to potential investors in the financial market favoring technical analysis.
