The bachelor thesis Endpoint security in a company is divided into two parts. First part is theoretical and it describes basic knowledge of safety and security in a company.
Second part is practical it is based on the theoretical part. It describes designed corporate security policy and implementation of security tool which provides security for individual workstations in terms of data leakage prevention through connected peripherals.
The main aim is to map the safety and security of corporate workstations. Secondary aims include various technologies and security practices, including corporate security policy.

Computer network in small company

This bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is devoted to theoretical basis of computer networks issues. A computer network and its dividing is characterized in the theoretical part. Possibilities of signal propagation over the network are introduced, while priority is given to cabling. Next description belongs to network topology, characterization of network models: ISO/OSI model and TCP/IP model and their single layers. Attention is also paid to active network elements and Ethernet technology. The thesis also deals with possibilities of network security, network workstations and data backup. The second, practical part of this thesis is focused on complete design of a computer network in Dafné profi Ltd company. The practical part firstly introduces Dafné profi Ltd company and analyzes the current state of the computer network. Based on requests submitted by the company and after thorough analysis and consideration of all options a new computer network is designed, including selected components and calculation of total price offer.

Trustworthiness of server certificates

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of trustworthiness of server certificates. The theoretical part of this thesis will demonstrate and explain all of these essentials that are included into issues. The next step we want to create a material, which will explain this issue. We will write about meanings of certificates, what certificates are used to and what is their role on the servers. We will explain how to install them, and whatever you need after installation to maintain or operate. Also we will compare advantages and disadvantages of these certificates. In this part we will also discuss with an expert from this field, which is interested in this issue for few years. In the practical part of the most famous and widely used certification authority of the Czech Republic and we compare their trustworthiness. At the end, we entire and explain our solution.
