Design of bonding system for PCB repairs
Burian, Jaroslav ; Skácel, Josef (referee) ; Otáhal, Alexandr (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design a device for PCB repairing, mainly for conductive traces and soldering pads. The design focuses on mechanical construction, control unit and controling of the whole device, which is semiautomatic. A great deal of emphasis is placed on the simplicity and versality of the construction. The teoretic part of this thesis is addressed to the printed circuit board and its repairs. There are presented existing devices for repairing of those defects in the second part. The next part is focused on the design itself in terms of mechanical construction and choosing electrical components. There is described controlling of these components. Part of making mechanical components follows. Last but not least, firmware, which controls whole machine is described there. Finally, the machine was tested in the repair process of the solder pad on the printed circuit board.
Monitoring equipment of degradation processes for material of animal origin
Chmelař, Vít ; Skácel, Josef (referee) ; Adámek, Martin (advisor)
The diploma thesis introduces the reader to the problems of chemical sensors and the basics of degradation processes in materials of animal origin. It describes some types of sensors and their principles. Atmel ATmega328 microprocessor, its parameters and programming are described. In the next part of the thesis there is a proposal and production of equipment for monitoring of degradation processes in materials of animal origin. Sample sof chicken and milk were mesuared. From these measurements, the gas concentration values were determined, where samples can be considered suitable for consumation.
Hot plate with power regulation
Lacika, Marek ; Skácel, Josef (referee) ; Búran, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with issues of used hot plates and thick-film technology. The theoretical part of diploma thesis contains a theoretical analysis and description of corresponding technology and usage of materials. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the design of the resulting device, which forms design of the test and optimized hot element, the initial design of the device and the design of models for temperature simulations. Then follows description of the practical realization of the motifs and testing of the created thick-film structure on a ceramic substrate. In the last part are shown simulations of heat transfer in the proposed model of the device.
Design of a fluidizing device for encapsulation
Lizúch, Ján ; Skácel, Josef (referee) ; Otáhal, Alexandr (advisor)
The aim of a bachelor´s thesis is to design and construct a model of fluidized bed for encapsulating a hybrid integrated circuits. A theory about hybrid integrated circuits, their packages, principles of fluidized bed and about organic materials suitable for fluidization is included in a first part of the thesis. Next parts of the thesis discusses a design of a theoretical model and its practical construction part. Thesis also contains a part about fluidization process optimalization for a specific encapsulating material.
Prediction of resistivity for thick film rezistor
Kolařík, Jaroslav ; Otáhal, Alexandr (referee) ; Skácel, Josef (advisor)
This work deals with issue the thick-film technology. Especially this work focuses on trimming value of resistance thick-film resistors. First part is dedicated to create the thick-film and thick-film resistors, trim technology and trim cuts. Next part is design of thick-film resistor and test substrate with resistors. The following is a description of the production the test substrate. Next part thesis deals with practical creation cuts into thick-film resistors by AUREL ALS300. The following is an experimental part dealing with the simulation of thick-film resistor with different trim cuts in the ANSYS Workbench. The last part is for practical verification of simulations measurement by the FLIR SC660 thermovision camera. At the end are evaluated knowledge of the properties of the trim cuts.
System for the Data Presentation and Data Collection
Skácel, Jan ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Milička, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to design and implement a tool that allows receiving data from multiple agents and representation of those data to logged in users. Model of recorded data is created by designer using special tool integrated into developed aplication. The application backend is implemented in Python language using Model-view-controller design pattern. Used database management system is MySQL. For definition of views within the application is used application specific scripting programming language.
Human Detection Using Radar
Skácel, Jan ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Maršík, Lukáš (advisor)
This work is focused on the design and implementation of algorithm for human detection in real time using a continuous wave radar. Classification of people is based on doppler signatures produced when they walk. Fourier transform techniques were used to analyze these signatures   and key features were identified that are very representative of the human walking motion.  On the basis of design, the C++ application that process radar signal and detects human is implemented. Last part of this work is focused on algorithm evaluation.
Design of a device for scratch tests
Brandejs, Petr ; Otáhal, Alexandr (referee) ; Skácel, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deals with designing a scratch tester. Theoretical part introduces scratch testing, with focus mainly on testing adhesion and layer toughness in microelectronics. Second chapter deals with research of commercially available scratch tester parameters. Based on the findings, construction, and electronics of a device capable of performing scratch tests with required parameters were designed. In the end, a few scratch tests were performed to show capabilities of the device.
Optimization of the switching power supplies with synchronous rectifier
Skácel, Josef ; Macháň, Ladislav (referee) ; Žák, Jaromír (advisor)
This thesis deals with switching circuit topic, especially switching power supplies. There are switching circuits without inductance and their benefits presented in the thesis. Basic topologies of switching power supplies, their properties, application area and functions of basic types of converters are also described. The next section focuses on special resonant switching power supplies and synchronous. The main part of the work is carried out simulations using three synchronous rectifiers. The work includes practical design of an SMPS with synchronous rectifier.
Transducer Systems
Skácel, Jiří ; Kučera, Jiří (referee) ; Meduna, Alexandr (advisor)
This document defines systems of pushdown transducers. The idea of cooperating distributed grammar systems for components working on one word is adjusted for use of transducers instead of grammars. The transducers cooperate by passing output of one to input of another component. It discusses their descriptive power and equivalency between systems with arbitrary numbers of components. The main conclusion is then comparison of their descriptive power with Turing machines with regard to their translation and accepted languages.
