BLDC motor control using LabView FPGA
Ruhás, Sándor ; Pohl, Lukáš (referee) ; Blaha, Petr (advisor)
This thesis focuses on BLDC motor control algorithms with model based design approach. Models and control algorithms were programmed in LabView, the NI MyRIO was used as a hardware platform. For hall-sensor feedback controlled application an already finished power inverter was used from a Honeywell rotary actuator. For sensor-less motor control an indirect sensing of BEMF signal is applied using motor phase current measurement. The time-critical parts of the algorithms are programmed for FPGA, the non-time-critical parts are programmed for LabView Real-Time module.
Laboratory tasks for Amira DTS200
Sikora, Jan ; Pohl, Lukáš (referee) ; Blaha, Petr (advisor)
In this work is introducing the laboratory system Amira DTS 200. It concerns of a system of 3 communicating vessels, pumps and pressure liquid level sensors. At this system are make several task on identification and regulation liquid level. System is simulated and controlled in Simulink diagram. Control is real-time via the Matlab Real- Time toolbox. System is identified by the help of analyses physical equation and their transferring to Simulink blocks. Some unknown parameters are experimentally measured. In regulation tasks is solved linearization, various basic methods of controller design and their using. Tasks include few check questions for students.
Control algorithms for BLDC motor for low speeds
Kozáček, Peter ; Pohl, Lukáš (referee) ; Veselý, Libor (advisor)
The diploma work concerns on an issue of data collection of speed and electrical angle based on informations from Hall sensor with the necessary resolution for control of BLDC motor. Specifically, concenred on a section with low speed. Most of moors use Hall sensor for detecting speed and position of the rotor. At low speed section, becomes the situation when we can not determine the position of the rotor with (the) required (sufficient) resolution, this situation creates a „wince“ in the control (ripple torque). The task is to design and evaluate the possibilities of the algorithm for control and acquisition speed and rotor position with the required accuracy.
AURIX target in MATLAB Simulink
Chromiak, Michael ; Pohl, Lukáš (referee) ; Blaha, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the implementation of SIL and PIL simulation for the microcontroller Aurix TriCore TC277D performed in the Matlab Simulink. The realization of the simulation represents, among other things, the implementation of the simulated model into the microcontroller, as well as the creation of an interface for the communication of the microcontroller with the Matlab Simulink. The accuracy of SIL and PIL simulations was verified by comparing the simulated waveforms from the simulation in Simulink. The simulated model used a thermal model of a car cabin created in the previous bachelor's thesis of the author of this diploma thesis. The model in TC277D, as well as the configuration for SIL / PIL is created for use with the C programming language. The work also includes instructions according to which the model and configuration can be modified so that the simulations can be performed on any device containing the necessary software. From the comparison of the simulated data is it clear that the created configuration can be used for SIL or PIL simulation.
Articulated vehicle kinematics
Roman, Matej ; Glos, Jan (referee) ; Pohl, Lukáš (advisor)
The goal of this thesis, is to create a kinematic model of an articulated vehicle. The first part deals with finding equations of state of this system and its control driving in reverse. The second part is dedicated to implement the model in the Matlab Simulink environment and to simulate and demonstrate the functionality of control on simple examples, typical for driving in reverse. In the last part a real model is created to test the functionality of control.
Universal BLDC motor controller
Pijáček, Ondřej ; Pohl, Lukáš (referee) ; Veselý, Libor (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of universal control unit for BLDC motor powered from airplane power distribution system of 28 V capable of driving motor up to 10 A. The maximal engine power is about 250 W. Important prerequisite is possibility of driving various motor size without needs of changing wiring board using only the configuration in the auxiliary memory unit. To control different motors is enough one unit with one program without any way to interfere to the unit itself.
Frequency method for motor parameters identification
Zimmert, Martin ; Buchta, Luděk (referee) ; Pohl, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with improved frequency method for motor parameters Identification. The goal of this thesis is to get an overview about identification method and simulate it on motor model in the Simulink and then to verify functionality of the method on the real motor. Firstly there are informations about a motor with permanent magnets and its control. Then there is an application of identification method for complete motor model. In the next part is measurement of the real motor. In the end is design of controller and discrete filter of identification signal.
Modeling of electrical drives on the CompactRIO platform using FPGA
Kozumplík, Karel ; Pohl, Lukáš (referee) ; Veselý, Libor (advisor)
This Master´s thesis engage in modeling of electric motions on CompactRIO platform with FPGA. Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is namely described, modeled and tested here. This thesis demonstrates the complete work procedure for modeling of electric motion and testing behavior of motor in real time. Various types of discretization are described here and model si discussed from accuracy same as from FPGA utilization point of view. The last part of this project describes testing comparison between created model and real PMSM motor and results from this testing.
Robust control of AC induction motor drives
Pohl, Lukáš ; Václavek, Pavel (referee) ; Blaha, Petr (advisor)
This bacherlor thesis deals with design of robust controller. In general it is about designing robust controller by using H-infinity control theory and input-output feedback linearization. Special structure of state-space equation governing the induction motor allows using linear parameter varying feedback controller scheduled with rotor speed for inner current loop. The proposed controller delivers high performance over the entire operating range of the induction motor and compares favorably with other published results
Sensorless control of AC motors on STM32 platform
Soviš, Jiří ; Veselý, Libor (referee) ; Pohl, Lukáš (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the issue of sensorless vector control of a synchronous motor with permanent magnets in the low-speed range. In the first part, there is a brief description of the synchronous motor and the necessary transformations for the application of vector control. This is followed by the overview of sensorless methods for position estimation by injecting a high-frequency harmonic signal. The practical part is devoted to the implementation of a control algorithm to develop kit STM32NUCLEO-L476RG, which is preceded by the identification of all engine parameters. As part of the implementation, a structure including current, speed and position control was designed. The functionality and robustness of the settings have been successfully tested due to the different inertia and load.
