Aplication of financial standings and bankruptcy indexes on CRYSTALEX a.s. and Sklárny KAVALIER a.s.

This thesis deals with the description of the most important indexes of financial standings and bankrupcy indexes, which qualify the financial situation of a company. These indexes evaluate the financial distress and predict a relevant company failure. In the thesis there are concretized these specific indexes - Beaver profile analysis, Altman idex Alt83, Altman Z-score, Taffler model, Beerman test, bonity index, Kralicek QUICKTEST, IN indexes and R.Douch system of the balance analyses on two specific companies. CRYSTALEX a.s. and Sklárny KAVALIER a.s. are two specific companies in this case. On grounds of the fact, that these companies are in bankrupcy proccedings these days, the aim of this bachelor thesis will be to analyse models mentioned above and also analyse their partial indexes in the period of five years before bankrupt.In the next part of the thesis there is the examination of possible reasons, that could led to the bankrupcy in that period of time. Appraisement of enterprise value

The purpose of this text is to estimate the value of Plzeňský Prazdroj, a.s. in order to determine value for yet unknown buyer. Approaches commonly used for appraisement of enterprises' value are used within the text, such as strategic analysis, financial analysis, finacial plan composition and the use of discounted cash flow methods. This thesis results in an appraisement of value of firm's equity on the date of evaluation.

Determination of competing position of the company Esonic a.s. in relation to its main competitors

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to set up competing position of the company Esonic a.s. in relation to its main competitors by the means of financial analyses. The field of corporation business is industrial automation, taking place mostly in food processing industry. With respect to low competition of the three most significant corporations, which I am going to analyze, this publication should be able to tell about the entire field. The main competitors, which will be compared to the company Esonic, a.s., are Sidat, spol. s.r.o. and ProjectSoft, spol. s.r.o. At the conclusion, I will determine the financial situation of the company Esonic a.s. and provide information about it's competing situation in this business field.

Efficiency of bankruptcy models on selected company

I worked out my bachelor thesis on topic bankruptcy models. As examined company I selected Olsanske papirny, Inc., which has gone bankrupt on 19th of February 2009. The goal of my thesis was to analyse the efficiency of bankruptcy models in predicting the upcoming bankrupt. In first part, I briefly described applied theory and also the construction of particular models. In second part I processed the financial analysis as basis for bankruptcy models and afterwards I applied the mentioned models. Finally, according to the results of my examined company I evaluated the efficiency or capability of the models to predict the upcoming bankrupt.

In mybachelor thesis I looked at the financial analysis of Třinecké želzárny, a.s.,Starting with the theoretical part that approaches the methodological apparatus used, which is heavily reliant on professional literature. In the practical part I value the development of individual indicators, suggest possible changes to improve, and last but not least the following characteristics compare to the competition in the field.

Financial analysis of Czech Airlines company

Content of this bachelor thesis is the financial analysis of Czech Airlines company. Aim is to complexly assess financial health of the company during 2003 - 2007. The work presents the strengths and weaknesses of the company and tries to propose improvements. The main resorces are public free data. Therefore it is an external analysis. All the theoretical lines in the methodological part are used in the practical part consisting of a financial statements analysis, index analysis, creditworthy and bankrupt models, economic value added and company inter-comparison. The conclusion summarizes all findings and outlines the future progress.

The goal of this baccalaureal work is a value setting of the company XY, a.s. It contains theoretical introduction, which specify evaluation of companies, reasons for evaluation and its principles. In the next part are explained the strategic analysis, which consists of macro, micro, SWOT and Porter's analysis, the financial analysis and on their basic follows the financial plan. In the last part is set the real value of the concrete company XY, a.s., made on the base of income methods.

This thesis evaluates the financial situation of the company Rubena a.s. in the years 2004 - 2007 through the financial analysis. It is divided into two parts. The teoretic part describes the ways and methods, the practical part is based on the real financial analysis of the company Rubena a.s.. The text contains diagrams and charts.
