Lighting unit for PCB production
Hybler, Matěj ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Balogh, Jaroslav (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of microcontroller driven lighting unit for the printed circuit board creation, using exposure of the applied layer of the photoresistive material. Main part is dedicated to design of the control unit, which can be operated either in automatic or manual mode, then its source code for microcontroller written in C language and the selection of suitable source of UV radiation. It also describes the design of the entire device, methods and results of individual measurements to determine the achievable quality of the resulting PCB.
Contactless measurement of temperature
Smrž, Martin ; Rozman, Jiří (referee) ; Balogh, Jaroslav (advisor)
Purpose of this bachelor thesis is get acquainted with problem of non-contact measuring of surface temperature of human body. The teoretical part of this labour deal about physical substance of non-contact temperature measurement, using types of detectors and application of this method to the medicine. In the practical part will focus on design and realization of electrical circuit for non-contact temperature measuring, comunication with personal computer and software solution of program for building surface temperature map of patient. At the end of labour was performed a set of measuring to compare accuracy of built thermometer with commercially available products.
Bioimpedance measurement
Pagáčová, Lenka ; Balogh, Jaroslav (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
The work deals with the body analysis using bioimpedance. The work included theory about bioimpedance and methods associated with the analysis. In the practical part is design of the device for measuring body composition including a software for the microcontroller. The assembled device was tested and compared with commercial product Tanita.
Device for measuring of the reaction time
Bohuš, Michal ; Kolářová, Jana (referee) ; Balogh, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis was become acquainted with human reaction time, its measurements and use. Part of the project was to build a device that measures reaction time of audio-visual stimulus. The device consists of stimulating and controlling parts. Audio-visual stimuli are scanned and controlled by microcontroler ATmega 16. Based on the obtained reaction time evaluate reaction time of measured entity.
PCR Thermal Cycler
Hidegová, Simona ; Balogh, Jaroslav (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
PCR enables to amplify copies of a segment of DNA and is dependent on thermal cycle, heating and cooling, provided by thermocycler. Options and parameters of commercially available thermocyclers are various. This thesis brings in design of hardware for three PCR tubes with ability to heat or cool down the samples in the range from 5°C to 100°C and firmware which allows external device control. It asseses aquired parameters of thermal cycle and discusses possible further development of firmware and extension for optical measurement.
Automatic measurement of characteristics of ampliers used for biosignals
Flídr, Karel ; Balogh, Jaroslav (referee) ; Harabiš, Vratislav (advisor)
This thesis is dedicated to operational amplifiers for biological signals. This work provides basic electrodiagnostic methods for scanning of biosignals. The work describes the processing of biological signals and types of sensors used for scanning of biological signals. Then there is described the development environment LabVIEW and NI ELVIS II development board. Finally, there is described an application developed in LabVIEW environment for measuring amplifiers attributes.
Leg prothesis
Bulva, Ondřej ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Balogh, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the current state of development of active lower limb prostheses and focuses mainly on own design of active prostheses. The introduction deals with the anatomy of lower limb and briefly describes the walk cycle. In other chapters are summarized amputation techniques in the lower limb, followed by a description of the allocation of prostheses according to the level of amputation, which were described in earlier chapters. The thesis also deals with the division of prostheses according to the patient's activity level and briefly describes the structural differences in these individual cases. Chapter describing the actual development in the field of active prostheses initiates part dealing with the detailed description of the part of the prosthesis. The following chapters deal with the design and implementation of a prototype of active transfemoral prosthesis. The penultimate chapter deals with the software description of all parts of the prosthesis. This chapter is followed by an evaluation of the achieved results.
Classification systems in the hospitals
Saliba, Walaa ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Balogh, Jaroslav (advisor)
Pomocí webového rozhraní, je možno provádět klasifikaci pacientů do tříd MDC (Major Diagnostic Category), archivaci dat, výpočet DRG a další vybrané úkony. Webovou aplikaci by mohli využívat technicko-hospodářští pracovníci nemocnic a klinik jako jednoduchou pomůcku při své práci, respektive jako učební pomůcka biomedicínských oborů pří výuce zdravotnických informačních a klasifikačních systémů.
Active noise cancellation
Bulva, Ondřej ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Balogh, Jaroslav (advisor)
This project deals with problems of active noise cancellation. The first part focuses on the understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the human hearing. Furthermore, the understanding of the basic principles of acoustics, distribution of sound, and his generating. The important part is introduction to the issue of noise in the environment. The second part is dedicated to device design. The aim of this work was to design and construct device for active noise cancellation. Designed and assembled were two versions of the device for active noise cancellation. The problems associated with achieving the perfect noise cancellation is analyzed at the end of the work in detail together with the results of active noise canceling each version of the device.
X-ray beam hardening effect simulation
Šlof, Michael ; Balogh, Jaroslav (referee) ; Drastich, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis concerns itself with X-ray beam hardening effect simulation by filtering. The initial part introduces a theoretical background to the given topic. It is crucial to understand the underlying physical principles and laws prior to analysis so the X-ray radiation theory is introduced first. Units, quantities and an X-ray tube are also outlined as part of the X-ray theory. The practical part focuses on X-ray beam hardening effect simulation in programming language MATLAB. A strong emphasis is placed on parameter input, ease of operation and outcome analysis of the desired process as related to the X-ray beam hardening effect.
