Dmitrij Shostakovich and his First Piano Sonata.

This thesis deals chiefly with the Shostakovitsch´s First Piano Sonata op. 12. It´s goal is to provide this piece in it´s wholeness as much as possible and by this way help to extend a low number of the sources about this matter, which are available in Czech, at least.
As the most important part I consider it´s formal analysis and primarily interpretation analysis, which is based on my own experience with this work I have had this year. My goal is to give the experience and knowledge I´ve got when I was studying it. All of this is given to the context with the Shostakovitsch´s curricullum with the most important works and with a separate chapter including the pieces for piano solo.
In the annex is given a complete sheet music of this sonata.

Lukáš Sommer: 1984-2010

The present hesis deals with the composer Lukáš Sommer. It looks at the young composer´s beginnings and his years of study, placing a lot of emphasis on his thought and "memories". An attempt is made at discovering the present-day generation of emerging authors, their views on the world of performers, on popular versus classical music and, last but not least, on their competitors. Enclosed is a CD with recordings ofLukáš´s music (no piece from after 2010) while the text is interspersed with a number of score samples to illustrate what sort of music is being discussed.a

CTIRAD KOHOUTEK - THE LIFE OF A COMPOSER

The thesis explores the musical personality of Ctirad Kohoutek. His childhood, adolescence, and years of study are covered as well as his time as professor at JAMU and HAMU and as director of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. He is portrayed as an astonishing and humorous person who has striven to gain perspective and distance throughout his life, which is illustrated by memories of some of his students (Prof. Otomar Kvěch, Prof. Stanislav Hochel, Prof. Radko Tichavský and Prof. Jiří Churáček) at the end of the text. Apart from critiques and art awards, the annexes list all Kohoutek?s works published to date. (That is because he still is a very active composer).

Segmentace trhu mladých

My thesis deals with clothing habits of young people. The first part descibes the process of market segmentation, the second part abou the lifestyle of young people and about their clothing habits. I used a questionaire and with the help of PASW Statistics I revaled four segments.
