Analysis of the transmission properties of VDSL 2
Stejskal, Tomáš ; Šilhavý, Pavel (referee) ; Šedý, Jakub (advisor)
The aim of this work is to present the basic properties of VDSL2. Description of individual profiles and transfer options (speed, range, utilization, ...). The second part of this work is to create a program to control noise generator DLS-5800 and injector noise DLS-5410DC. The program is designed for remote control of these devices. It is programmed for the Microsoft Windows operating system in Visual Studio 2010 in C + + using the Winsock library. The program that is able to read noise profiles and change their parameters.
Realisation feasibilities of punctured convolutional encoders
Šedý, Jakub ; Zeman, Václav (referee) ; Němec, Karel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to bring readers the issue punctured convolutional codes and in the design and verification of the functionality of the codec as a separate electronic system. The thesis is divided into four main chapters. The first three chapters deal with design and implementation of individual blocks of the codec and the subsequent verification of these blocks. The fourth and last chapter deals with the design and implementation of the codec as a separate electronic system.
Testing of IP PBX resistance against attacks using Spirent Avalanche tester
Zelenay, Martin ; Šedý, Jakub (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
This work explores, analyzes and rate infuence of VoIP attacks on open source pbx functionality. It describes how voice over IP attacks are achieved according to security standards. There are described concepts and basics of VoIP networks with orientation on facts necessary to understand analyzed actions and measurements in theoretical part. In practical part, there is described realization of attack tests according to instructions with first orientation on initial checking of testing device, pbx’s and security attack possibilities and then complex creation and testing of attack scenarios types such as fuzzing and denial of service attacks.
Acquisition of data on network communication from terminal devices
Obršlík, Lukáš ; Šedý, Jakub (referee) ; Krkoš, Radko (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with collecting statistical information about network communication in terminal equipment devices. Theoretical part of this project aims to gather methods and application tools on Windows and Unix platforms and support them by well chosen third party solution to gain more detailed informations. Tools were chosen based on ease of deployment and usage. Practical part of bachelor’s thesis directs to find suitable solution to gather detailed informations about network traffic. Important fact must be to not bother the end-users. Next part is to develop own application for collecting information about network usage and communication. Output format structure of the solution was designed with future data manipulation in mind.
Impact of HTTP 2.0 on modern data networks
Maurerová, Lenka ; Šedý, Jakub (referee) ; Krkoš, Radko (advisor)
This semestral thesis is considered of Gopher, HTTP 1.0, HTTP 1.1, HTTP 1.2, SPDY, HTTP 2.0 a HTTPS protocols, which are used for transmission of hypertext documents and of REST architecture, which compares listed protocols, and suggestion of practical demonstration of differences between protocols HTTP 1.1 and HTTP 2.0 their features.
Authentication, authorization and accounting of packet oriented transmission in mobile networks
Tkáč, Peter ; Šedý, Jakub (referee) ; Krkoš, Radko (advisor)
Concern of this thesis is priciples of authentication, authorisation and charging in packet oriented mobile networks. In thesis is description of evolution of fourth generation mobile networks, architecture of these networks and function of each part in network. Next part of the thesis decribes functions of policy and charging control. Procedures, which provide security of user in network, authentication and authorization of user, are explained in detail. Thesis describes procedures of charging in mobile networks and all options of charging in system of experimental mobile network.
Automation of measurement of transmission properties of DSL modems
Pokorný, Lukáš ; Šedý, Jakub (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
The work deals with transmission parameters of DSL systems and software development for the automated measurement. The first part is devoted to the transmission medium and modulation techniques. The following describes the detailed functions and features of ADSL2+ modems. Integral part of the work is the overview of the ITU test methodology, together with parameters of test loops and types of interference. Within the automation of measurement are described used Spirent simulators DSL414E and DLS8234 and important communication commands. The practical part is devoted to designing applications for control simulators and software for automated measurement. For implementation of algorithms and creation of graphical interface is used C++ programming language. Finally the results of measuring the transmission properties of ADSL and VDSL systems executed by created application are presented.
Experimental mobile network based on open-source projects
Efler, Jan ; Šedý, Jakub (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the realization of an experimental mobile network using open source projects. To implement GSM network was used kit USRP1 which uses YateBTS with GNURadio. To call connection is used PBX Yate. Installation and configuration are part of this thesis.
Automation of measurement of disturbance influence on DSL modem transmission
Dvořák, Tomáš ; Šedý, Jakub (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
Goal of this work was to develop software to control noise injector DLS-5410DC and noise generator DLS-5800 and be able to perform automatized measurement of tranmission parameters of DSL line. The first part describes different noises on DSL line. In second part is described the software, how it was designed and developed. Software allows user to remote control devices, edit and apply noise profiles and perform automatized measurement of transfer characteristics. Software was programmed in C\# programming language on .NET Framework 4.0 platform. For programming was used Microsoft Visual Studio 2012.
