The desingn of the lighting protection for civil buildings
Šebesta, Ondřej ; Bátora, Branislav (referee) ; Toman, Petr (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the issue of lightning protection and goes along with ČSN EN 62 305 norms. First part goes into effects of lightning on objects and engineering networks in theory. Second part familiarizes external lightning protection and possibilities of its realization. The issues of internal protection against lightning and surge protection are analysed afterwards. Second half familiarizes protected family house and the risks are calculated for this house. External protection is designed and verified by protective angle and rolling sphere methods. Last part of this thesis focuses on internal surge protection and individual levels of surge protection are designed.
Short circuit current of synchronous generator
Šebesta, Ondřej ; Orságová, Jaroslava (referee) ; Toman, Petr (advisor)
The thesis deals with the problematics of short-circuit current of synchronous machine. The first section focuses on the theoretical process of short-circuit current of synchronous machine and describes how this transient process changes throughout it's duration and with what reactances and time constants it is defined. Subsequently, this section deals with the methodics of tests of the snychronous machine, which may be used to set it's reactances. The second part of the work focuses on measurement of the short-circuit current in a specific synchronous machine. Further, there are measurements of processes of the short-circuit in time and their analysis. The last section of the thesis deals with the simulation of short-circuit current process. The simulation is ran by the Matlab/Simulink software. Simulated processes of short-circuit are then compared with the results of measurements from the previous section of the thesis.
Unemployment in Central Bohemia
Šebesta, Ondřej ; Pavelka, Tomáš (advisor) ; Rusmichová, Lada (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with an analysis of unemployment in the Central Bohemian Region between 2010 and 2015. The thesis evaluates effectivity of the active employment policy and also focuses on spending trends in connection with the application of individual active employment policy instruments. The aim of this thesis is to present a complex evaluation of changes in the structure of jobseekers with respect to age, gender, educational attainment and length of studies. The theoretical part is focused on defining the fundamental terms relating to labour market, unemployment and employment policy. Despite the general decrease in unemployment over the relevant years, unemployment rates among particular social groups managed to grow. Especially the question of very long-term unemployed still remains unresolved. Of all active employment policy instruments, training is deemed to be the most fiscally efficient. Training programs represented the most common instrument by means of which the Labour Office helped the jobseekers regain their position on the labour market.

Bank guarantees in international trade
Šebesta, Ondřej ; Nejedlý, Michal (advisor) ; Baluchová, Daniela (referee)
This thesis deals with the security instrument known as a bank guarantee which is becoming more popular nowadays not only in international trade, but also at the domestic level. The aim of the thesis is to introduce the topic of bank guarantees in the light of theoretical and then practical aspects. After the initial description of bank guarantees and putting forward various international uniform rules the thesis deals, in its second chapter, with different types of bank guarantees. The third chapter pays attention to support of export of the Czech Republic through bank guarantees and their insurance with state support. An important part of the thesis is also a comparison of claims resulting from authorised or unauthorised drawing on the guarantee.
