Power optimizer design for on-grid photovoltaic systems for family houses
Trenčanová, Bianka ; Procházka, Petr (referee) ; Cipín, Radoslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with hardware design of an optimizer of energy flow from photovoltaic power plant to prevent an overflow of power made by plant to grid in grid-on system in case of excess of made energy. Theoretical part is aimed at photovoltaic, types of photovoltaic power plants and situation in Slovakia and Czech republic. Practical part is about designing the energy flow optimizer. It describes its main parts with descriptions of components' features, partial connection diagrams and finally connection diagram as a whole.
BLDC Motor Control Module
Morávek, Lukáš ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Procházka, Petr (advisor)
Diploma thesis describes design and realization of hardware and software for controlling and regulation of the high-speed drive with BLDC motor, which will serve as a spindle for CNC milling machine. The thesis described in detail the schematic design and the design of printed circuit board of the power part, control part and power supply part of the three-phase transistor inverter controlled by DSP processor. It is also described in detail program of DSP processor for controlling and regulation of the BLDC motors, which the function is verified by the final measurements. The result of Diploma thesis is functional high-speed drive with BLDC motor.
PMSM models for educational purposes
Lidmila, Petr ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Pazdera, Ivo (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with synchronous motor model creation in MATLAB – Simulink program, with purpose of usage in AC Drives class. Models are created for motor with permanent magnets and for motor with wound rotor. The models are designed to enable simulation with both different longitudinal and transverse inductance, thus with salient rotor and non-salient rotor. The models can also be powered directly from three-phase sinusoidal source or a simple vector control can be used for their acceleration. All models are aligned so that their parameters can be set in only one m-file. Furthermore, automatic generation of phasor diagrams for steady-state motor, which serves as an interactive tool in class, is also created.
3D Printer
Ctibor, Jiří ; Knobloch, Jan (referee) ; Cipín, Radoslav (advisor)
Master thesis deals with topic about 3D printers, concretely making hardware of control and power electronic for FDM 3D printer. The work could offer an overview about basic 3D printing technologies after reading. More information could be read about FDM technology, which is used in our printer, also with description of all important components. The furthest is discussed about electronic drives. If reader is interested in this topic, part of this thesis is schematic design of control electronics, which can be used to build own boards. Design of printed circuit boards is not present in attachment and can be obtained by contacting the author. For own control is used one of the open source control software. Mechanical problems and also mechanical design is done in parallel thesis by other student of Faculty of mechanical engineering.
Simulation of electric drives in freeware program
Hnilica, Peter ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to find and then to test the freeware alternative to Simulink. Introductory section presents short overview of the bachelor´s thesis. The second chapter is devoted to a search of available programs and to explore their potential for another use in the simulation process. In the third chapter are theoretical knowledges required for further work in simulation programs. The fourth chapter describes the simulation process of selected electrical machine in Simulink and in his freeware alternative as well as export measured values to an external file and comparison of these values. In conclusion are evaluated simulation results, including the ability of freeware alternatives to replace fully Simulink.
Calculation of equivalent circuit parameters with finite element method for electrical machine
Michaliczek, Jan ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
This thesis serves as introduction to construction and mathematic model of the permanent magnet synchronous machine. The goal is to create a model of permanent magnet synchronous motor in program FEMM, which evaluates problems with the help of finite element method, and based on the solutions of the model for different currents and different load angles determine his substitutive parameters.
Measurement of DC and EC motors characteristics
Chlebný, Radek ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Vondruš, Jiří (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis deals with commutator direct current motors and electronically commutated motors of company Maxon motor AG. The first part of its deals basic structural elements and focuses on the characteristics of these engines, such as lifetime, revolution properties, efficiency and control methods. The thesis deals with properties, principle of operation and construction of hysteresis brake. Another important theme is improved by the construction of the dynamometer. The last part contains the actual measurement of DC commutator motors assigned Maxon RE and Maxon S, which are loaded with hysteresis brake and final evaluation measurements comparing measured values with the data producer.
Modern Mathematical Methods of the Analysis and Synthesis of AC Machines
Cipín, Radoslav ; Skala,, Bohumil (referee) ; Richter, Aleš (referee) ; Patočka, Miroslav (advisor)
The doctoral thesis is divided into three main parts with a focus on induction motors. The first part deals with the electromagnetic design and analysis of windings of AC ma-chines. There is introduced the density of conductors, which describes the distribution of the windings in the slots. There is derived general formula for calculation of the total winding factor applicable to any type of winding. The second part of this work deals with the acceleration method of the induction motors torque-speed characteristics measurement. The measured characteristics are used for exact identification of the equivalent circuit parameters of induction motor. The third section is focused on a very precise identification of the equivalent circuit parameters of induction motor in the form of -circuit. The identification is based on mutual comparison of measured and calculated torque-speed and current-speed characteristics.
Parameters identification of the asynchronous machine substituting circuit
Běloušek, Radim ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Patočka, Miroslav (advisor)
Mathematical model and substituting circuit both include several parameters, which is important to determine for a control. This work is target on identification of parameters of substitute circuit of the asynchronous machine in -network form. The work is divided into several main units. In the first of them are shown the methods of identification of asynchronous machine on the selected machine. The measuring of torque characteristic by classical way with dynamometer and by dynamically with fly-wheels is shown in the next part of this work. The final part of this work is devoted to interpretation and comparison of achieved results.
