Genetic Algorithms and Scheduling
Škrabal, Ondřej ; Popela, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
This work deals with scheduling problem in particular plastic production service. The solution is based on heuristic algorithms, programming languages C + +, C # and is built on the .NET framework and LINQ to XML. It provides the users with comparisons of the heuristic approach with genetic algorithms applied to production problem. All methods results are compared in relation to hand-arranged plans.
Solving of Security Problems in Local Networks
Marek, Martin ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis is concerned with solving security problems in local computer networks. The main part deals with the solution of authorization of wireless clients against the RADIUS server and with the proposal of domain controller using open-source products and the tools of operating system GNU/Linux.
Design and implementation of a call back system utilizing JBoss and unix clustering
Vakula, Juraj ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
The thesis is focused on use and implement High Availability cluster in the productive environment, where is needed to concentrate on business critical application. The main aim of this thesis is to create the environment for callback system, which consist from many software products, for example database, web, java and etc. A company has to consolidate every application in an flexible environment resistent to hardware failure, human error in order to be running 24/7.
Software for the small delivery company
Jaderný, Petr ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
This thesis describes the program solution of work with information for a small spedition company. It means the common registration of documents, contacts and other information about companies with which do the spedition company business. Further forms and information generating, which are needed for common accounting operations. Finally making of the back-up files.
Development of Internet Application Using Rich Internet Application Adobe AIR
Šimík, Adam ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
This thesis explores the development of desktop applications using Adobe AIR (Adobe Itegrated Runtime) technology. Applications like these are based on web technologies but they do not have such restricted access to resources of operating system as web applications. Moreover, it is possible to install these applications on various operating systems without the need of their previous compilation for a specific operating platform. Apart from describing technologies used for developing AIR applications, this thesis also presents an application which is used for testing the possibilities and features that AIR technology offers.
Unstructured Mesh Generation
Rozehnalová, Petra ; Roupec, Jan (referee) ; Hlavička, Rudolf (advisor)
Meshes based on triangulation (2D) or tetrahedralization (3D) are widely used in applications such as computer graphics, interpolation, surveying, and terrain modelling. Although the most important use is in numerical methods for the solution of partial differential equations. This solution is use for simulation of complex physical processes, which are described by this equations. The main topic of this thesis is mash generation.
Heuristic algorithms in optimization
Mathematical Model for Faculty Budget
Holá, Lucie ; Roupec, Jan (referee) ; Popela, Pavel (advisor)
The idea of this diploma thesis is an origin application of optimization models to solve a wage funds allocation problem on various institutes of each faculty. This diploma thesis includes an outline of linear programming models, nonlinear programming models, multiply programming models and parametric programming models. Studied questions are debating in wider context of distributing financial resources from the Budget of the Czech republic, through Ministry of education, youth and sports, universities, faculties after as much as various institutes. The accent is given on question of definition assessment scales of achievement criteria with general-purpose kvantification.
Determining the size of the state space
Rybanský, Marian ; Krček, Petr (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
Objective of the thesis is to describe and evaluate the appropriate methods to determine the size of the state space. State space will be created by using a program (generator) which generates a state space, from the input values and regulations (model). To objectively assess the state space we classifies according to their parameters. Classified state space will be added to a class, in which the demarcation perform evaluation methods will be done.
On-line computer games
Žamberský, Zdeněk ; Krček, Petr (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with on-line computer games, more precisely web games. First chapter is focused on technologies usable for web game development. Other two chapters are devoted to example aplications, develped as part of this bachelor's thesis.
