Case study of physioterapy treatment of the pacient with the diagnosis of ankylosing spondylitis

Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of the pacient with the diagnosis of ankylosing spondylitis. Objectives: The aim of the bachelor thesis is familiarization and resume with the general issues of ankylosing spondylitis. The next is processing of case study of physiotherapy treatment of the pacient with the diagnosis of ankylosing spondylitis and create a complex perspective on the rehabilitation care. Methods: The thesis consists of the general part, where a basic disease is described in more detail, including possible complications, way of examination and therapy. The second, special part is focused on concrete patient with ankylosing spondylitis. This part described patient's medical history, entery assesment, follow-up therapy and resulting efect of the therapy. Results: The problems of disease were theoretically clarified. Autor: Anežka Kudrnová Title: Case study of Physical treatment of Patient with Arthroplasty of the Shoulder joint Summary: This thesis discusses a case study of physiotherapeutic care of a patient with arthroplasty of shoulder joint caused by traumatic four-fragments fracture of proximal humerus. The aim of the first, general part of the work is to introduce this diagnosis, surgery and conservative approach in case of fracture proximal humerus. It deals with the general anatomy, biomechanics and kinesiology of shoulder joint. The specificities of rehabilitation after arthroplasty of shoulder joint are also discussed. The second, practical part of the thesis describes a case report of a patient with this diagnosis. This is a patient I was working with in MediCentrum in January 2015. First the anamnesis, initial kinesiologic examination, design and cours of therapy are described. Then, final kinesiologic examination and evaluation of the therapy are presented. Title of bachelor's thesis: Case of physiotherapy care for patient with rheumatoid arthritis diagnosed Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to show using of physiotherapeutistic methods on patient with rheumatoid arthritis. One part of this thesis is casuistry of patient with rheumatoid arthritis. The summary: The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical part and the special part. The theoretical part is focused on issue of rheumatoid arthritis, its characteristic, division, diagnostics and following therapy. In the special part is closely processed casuistry of patient with rheumatoid arthritis, this part includes entry kinesiological assesment, process of following therapies, output kinesiological assesment and evaluation of therapy efect. This casuistry was processed at the Institue of Rheumatology in Prague in period from 6th of January to 31st of Janury 2014. Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with cerebellar ischemic stroke. Summary: The general part of the bachelor thesis deals with the topic of stroke. To understand the issue of disease there will be described the brief anatomy of vascular brain supply, division of stroke according to the location and cause of ischemia. The risk factors which affect the posibility of stroke and eventual preventation will be presented. Also the most commonly used diagnostic and physiotherapeutic methods and their benefits in a different stages of the disease will be mentioned. In the practical part of the thesis there will be described case study of the patient treated for ischemic stroke. Case report of physiotherapeutic care about patient with diagnosis after Meningoencephalitis.

Title: Case report of physiotherapeutic care about patient with diagnosis after Meningoencephalitis. Summary: This thesis consists of two parts - a general part and a special part. The general part summarizes theoretical basis of the disease. It explains the term of meningoencephalitis and represents its epidemiology and etiopatogenesis, clinical marks, possible complications of the disease, its diagnostics and cure. The special part contains case report of physiotherapy care for a patient after meningoencephalitis. The case report consists of initial musculoskeletal assessment of the patient, performance of the therapeutic units and assessment of the effectiveness of the therapy. Case report was worked out on the rehabilitation clinic Na Malvazinkách in Prague at the time of continuous bachelor's practice. Title: Case Report of a Patient after Amputation of Upper limbs Summary: This thesis consists of two parts. The first part is general and concludes theoretical basis of the amputations, presenting their history, indications, complications, possible chirurgical interventions, orthotic prosthetics and rehabilitation care. The second part is special and concludes case report of a patient after amputation of both upper limbs. The case report consists of a musculoskeletal assessment of the patient and a re-assessment, rehabilitation plans, proposal of the therapy, performance of therapeutical units and finally evaluation of the effectiveness of the therapy. The case report was worked out during my rehabilitation practice on the Rehabilitation clinic Malvazinky in Prague. Title: Effect of forward head posture on postural stabilization measured by postural somatooscillography. Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to assess the influence of the forward head posture on the overall ability of postural stabilization using postural somatooscillography method. Methods: This thesis was prepared using analytical - comparative study. It compared two groups of fifteen subjects using the challenge test "3 steps - standing on one leg" in standart conditions. The measurement was recorded to the Microswing 6.0 and collected data was evaluated by Posturomed Commander. Results: The research did not achieve clear results at all, but in the overall assessment, we could say, that people with forward head posture have different, maybe slightly worse ability of postural stabilization. Title: Internal consistency of assessment set of clinical features of patients with multiple sclerosis and its correlation with the degree of neurological impairment. Objectives: The aim of this work is to verify the internal consistency of Assessment set of clinical features in patients with multiple sclerosis and its correlation with the degree of neurological disability that would comprehensively and objectively judged effect of physiotherapy in patients with MS. Method: Clinical Examination set of functions includes well-known, standard and validated assessments that evaluate the function associated with the central movement disorders focusing on the clinical manifestations of RS (Low-Contrast Letter Acuity Test contrasting vision, Motricity Index assesses muscle strength, spasticity Modified Ashworth Scale, Berg balance Scale equilibrium, Nine Hole Peg Test investigate fine motor skills, Timed 25 - Foot Walk assess walking speed over a distance of 7.5 m, Paced Auditory Serial Addition Test investigates cognitive function, and auditory information processing speed, simple computational skills and ability to concentrate after the duration of the test.
