Forest road network in terms of forest fire protection
Blažejová, Eva ; Tománek, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Javůrek, Petr (referee)
Abstract The aim of this thesis is to describe the different types of forest roads to be used for intervention of fire fighting equipment in the event of an emergency; to determine whether the forest road network is sufficient if they are used in a fire outside the L1, L2 and forest slant routes or technological lines. This thesis is working with the issue of fires, technique used in emergencies and procedures for the transport of water to inaccessible places in the forest complexes. The research part of this work addresses interventions in forests with a description of solutions to individual situations. The familiarization with the possibilities and techniques used by the fire brigade, which were used for fighting selected fires in Plzeň Region, which were interesting either as for their size or their complexity. The field survey of fires and problematic locations shows that forest road network Class 1 and Class 2 should be maintained by the administrator in such a condition that units of the fire brigade might intervene there. These roads are passable for intervening units. In some cases, forest paths of lower categories can be used depending on the location and possibilities and deployment of special fire-fighting equipment. Evaluations of individual commanders were directed to the approximate dimensions of about 400 m, which would be the ideal distance between communications in case of fire intervention. According to the information gathered from Šumava National Park the first zone of the National Park is the problem; an effort to eliminate most of the roads that were previously used is currently ongoing there. On the basis of gathered information commanders FRS, but also the employees of forest enterprises can learn of the technology possibilities for extinguishing work and the practicability of forest roads for intervention of Fire and Rescue Service.
Parameters of forest roads earth structures
Pelesná, Jitka ; Tománek, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Bystrický, Roman (referee)
This work deals with finding the actual dimensions of forest roads, earthworks on LS Kácov and comparing them with project documentation. The work is divided into 2 parts, theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part presents and explains the basic term concerning forest roads, the construction of forest roads, and at the same time presents the terms earth structures, earthwork and embankment slope, earth moving and describes the machines designed for earth moving. In the practical part, two project documentations are presented, details of which I compared with the actual dimensions of 3 earthworks. From the measured data I found a number of derogations from the project documentation. It was a change of inclination, or construction of a new drainage channel.
Maintenance of forest road network
Střelková, Tereza ; Tománek, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Javůrek, Petr (referee)
This Bachelor work deals with maintenance of forest path network and everything related to this topic such as repairs and reconstructions. The work takes a form of a research and is to serve as a summary of information about the given problem. Its main aim is to help to improve condition of forest paths and keep them in a good condition. The work consists of two parts, the first is a research and the second my own research. It took place on the basis of setting a section where a measurement of forest paths length was carried out, then measurement of sections with damage, followed by percentage comparison of damage. Based on this research even an estimated budget for repair and maintenance can be set.
Maintenance of forest road network
Hrstka, Jakub ; Tománek, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Ctibor, Ctibor (referee)
This thesis based on field research deals with the issues of the maintenance of forest roads and the contraventions on these roads located in the cadastral territory of Horní Chobolice and Srdov. The main reasons for planned maintenance is the prevention of bad technical conditions and parameters of substandard roads to ensure good access to the adjacent forest lands. Assessment of the length of forest roads was done using a map server mapy.cz and distance wheel. For evaluation of the conditions forest roads were used a catalog of violations of bitumen roads mentioned in the book The construction , reconstruction and modernization of forest road site. On sections where has been identificated violations, were propose steps and activities for return to their original conditions. To ensure the operability of the forest road network.
Maintenance of forest road network
Šafařík, Richard ; Tománek, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Ctibor, Ctibor (referee)
This work deals with the maintenance of forest road networks at two sites near the town of Trutnov. These issues are theoretically based in the norm CSN 73 6108 and in the Forest Act. It presents cutting routes according to different criteria and describes the actual maintenance works, which can run on forest roads. Technical condition of forest roads and their wear is connected with the surrounding entities, especially with human and natural factors. In the practical part the field investigation was conducted, within which were specified maintenance activities, assessed in the chosen locality. To them, they were subsequently collected specific data and recorded in the table. The actual survey implemented methods of measurement and observation. After the data analysis it has been found, that the condition of forest road network is being influenced the most by the surface water and that just maintenance works, which eliminate the effect of surface water, are the most neglected.
