The differences in the level and variability of impact factors between golfers of different performance

Title: Differences in the level and variability of impact factors in golfers of different performance Aim: The aim of the diploma thesis is to clarify what are the differences in the level and variability of impact factors in golfers of different performance. Methods: The research group consisted of a total of 28 right-handed golfers divided into 3 performance categories. Professional players included all those with PRO status (Age = 28.5 ± 4.33 years, Height = 183.25 ± 4.76 cm, Weight = 85.46 ± 9.92 kg), Among Elite Amateur players with better hcp than 4.2 (Age = 22.67 ±1.63 years, Height = 186.33 ± 7.12 cm, Weight = 81.84 ± 10.04 kg, HCP = 0.47 ± 2.34) and among Amateur players all with hcp 4.3 or worse (Age = 35 ± 9.03 years, Height = 182.78 ± 6.58 cm, Weight = 84.11 ± 12.14 kg, HCP = 7.71 ± 2.57). Probands played a total of 20 strokes with 4 clubs (PW, 8 iron, 5 iron, Driver) after 5 strokes with a full swing to the finish line. In our test, the level and variability of impact parameters were evaluated. The difference between the performance groups was evaluated using the Kruskal-Wallis test at the level of statistical significance alpha <0.05 in the R v3.5.2 program (Vienna, Austria). Ball flight control with wedges in amateur golf players

Title Ball flight control with wedges in amateur golf players Objectives The aim of the study was to determine level of ball's flight distance control and its relaitionship to the current and long-term performance of the elite amateur golfers. Methods The research sample was consisted of 10 selected right-handed golfers of the elite amateur level (age = 22 ± 3 years, height 186 ± 13 cm, weight 81 ± 20.5 kg, HCP 1,2 ± 3,4). Probands task was to hit 15 strokes. At each of the tested distances (45 m, 55 m, 65 m, 75 m and 85 m) the player played three strokes. The TrackMan 4 3D Doppler Radar (TrackMan, Denmark) was used to determine tested parameters. The results were recorded in individual protocols and then processed in Microsoft Excel, which was also used to obtain basic statistics: mean, standard deviation, variation range, and percentage deviation from the target. Percentage deviation from target was calculated as a percentage of total deviation from target distance. We used program R v3.5.2 (Vienna, Austria) for statistical evaluation of the relationship between ball distance control and performance.
