Misuse of sexuality in advertising

This bachelor thesis describes sexism especially in czech mass media. The development of gender and issue of women status in advertising are discussed. General terms related to advertising, gender, and sexism as stereotypes, social roles or theory of mass media are explained. The thesis also deals with feminity and maskulinity and it is completed by typical examples of representation women in advertising. Some sections are devoted to the differences between the sexes divided into males and females controlled by gender stereotypes.
