Development of user SW for experimental modal analysis

The aim of this thesis is to create an application with a user interface for estimating modal parameters using experimental modal analysis. The application was developed in LabVIEW programming environment. The implemented methods in the application include Peak Picking method, Circle-Fit method, Frequency modal identification method of lightly damped structures and Ibrahim Time Domain method. Verification of this application was accomplished by measurement and subsequent estimation of modal parameters of three different objects. Modal parameters estimated from the measurement were then compared with the results of finite element method.
