Lifestyle of teachers in kindergartens

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the lifestyle of kindergarten teachers. In the theoretical part, there is firstly described how the profession of a pedagogue in a pre-school facility has evolved. Then the concepts of health, disease, stress, mental hygiene, active rest and relaxation are defined. The main topic of the following chapters is a healthy lifestyle and its individual elements such as nutrition, exercise, sleep, faith, self-education, and addictions. Three out of the most commonly tolerated addictions are discussed, these are smoking, consumption of alcohol and watching television. The end of the theoretical part focuses on teacher burnout and the ways to cope with it and coping strategies i.e. what strategies to choose for managing challenging situations and stress. The practical part contains the results of a survey, which goal was to find out what kind of lifestyle do kindergarten teachers lead.
