Kopecká, Lenka ; Brožová, Věra (advisor) ; Pechová, Drahoslava (referee)
The Graduation theses reviews imaging of being an outsider, handicap and family difficulties in prose with child character. It focuses on the front writer's pieces of children's literature written in 1990s. Introductory chapter applies to the Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. Together with other specialized literature this theory presents a basis for authors of the children's literature. It allows them to understand children (and human generally) behavior which helps them to describe it in a more realistic way. The following chapters are devoted to the comparison of books where the main character and his companions face many adverse circumstances. Attention was paid to methods which had been used to present the topics to the reades - particular compositional methods, used means of narrator, language instruments etc.
