Management of business processes in automobile industry

The Concept of business processes includes many activities. Therefore is this bachelor thesis based on Porter{\crq}s model principle, which is used as a point of view how to look at chosen company. The Company ``Dura Blatná{\crqq} produces components not only for world known and acknowledged marks as Ford, Audi, VW, BMW, but also for the biggest Czech car producer ``Škoda Auto Mladá Boleslav{\crqq}. The Dura Blatná company applies modern technologies, implements modern methods of management and is directed to team working. It produces high quality goods and is sparing on the environment. Automobile industry belongs to a branch with very sharp competition. For that reason Dura has of course present competitors and its certain to expect endanger of potential competition. In spite of that, this company has a strong position on the market. If we look at the production of car body components, it is not possible to speak about substitutes and complements in proper sense of the word. Customers often dictate their own demands and have considerable strength in the negotiations. The Company has whole row of suppliers. A part of consumers-suppliers relations determines the mother company in Germany in Plettenberg. Proposed improvement concerns establishing the communication by means of EDI in more consumers{--}suppliers processes. It is quite certain, that this type of communication brings a row of benefits, first of all quick and more exact and efficient processes, followed by increased competition ability of the company.
