Throughout the diploma thesis have dealt with the statistical evaluation of the influence of gender factor, breed, age and year of start on the performance and number of PPBs in driving and dressage competitions. The breed factor, gender, age and start year of start have had a statistically high impact on the performance in driving competitions. In regards of the numbers of PPB in dressage, the gender factor, age, year of start statistically proved to be a significant effect. These breeds start much more in driving competitions compared to dressage competitions, except the Friesian horse, which starts more in dressage. The number of starting horses in the driving was 777, in dressage 180. Also, it was found that the average performance of those breeds in the team competitions was between ST and T, whereby level of efficiency was reached by 635 horses. In dressage competitions Friesian horse with 53 % representation is the highest one, followed by Old-Kladrub horses with 44 %, then Lipizzaner horses with 3 %. Individuals of Friesian horses averaged 1.40 PPB, while Old-Kladrub 2.78 PPB, Lipizzaner 0.50 PPB. It was found that the Old-Kladrub horses in the driving competitions mostly have been achieving performance T, in dressage L. The stallions of this breed have reached 3.77 PPB in dressage.
