HIGH-SPEED AERODYNAMIC RESEARCH ON BLADE CASCADE REPRESENTING MIDDLE SECTION OF ROTOR BLADING OF LAST STAGE OF STEAM TURBINE OF LARGE OUTPUT

The paper is concerned with results of an aerodynamic research on the midsection of the last stage rotor blade of a large output steam turbine. Data from optical and pneumatic measurements were obtained in a wide range of isentropic exit Mach numbers and angles of incidence. Velocity, loss coefficient and exit flow angle characteristics are analysed and discussed. Structure of flow fields are described using interferograms and schlieren pictures
