Burnout syndrome among selected workers in helping professions from the ranks of members of the armed forces, workers in health and education

This bachelor thesis with the topic "The Burnout syndrome among selected workers in helping professions from the ranks of members of the armed forces, workers in health and education" is divided into two main parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is concerned especially with the characteristics of the concept of burnout, its symptoms, manifestations and possibilities of preventing it. There is also an outline of the various helping professions that are included in the research. The latter part focuses on examination of the burnout syndrome among selected workers by the evaluation of the questionnaire survey. The research focused on several issues. Subject to examination were next to the subjective feelings of the workers and their awareness of the issue, also direct experiences with the syndrome and its prevention. The survey results showed that subjectively the most satisfied group in the current occupation are educators. The least satisfied are the nurses. I also found out that 97 % of respondents were not satisfied with the financial and social evaluation. The results also show that 44 % of the interviewed is satisfied with the working environment.
