The Persona of the Journalist Vojtěch Dolejší

This bachelor thesis focuses on the persona of the communist journalist Vojtěch Dolejší. It aims to introduce this persona, describe the most important phases of his life and put him in a historical, medial and socio-political context. A very important part of the thesis is also a thorough analysis of selected monographs of Dolejší. The first section of the thesis is focused on Dolejší's life and his work for various Czechoslovak journals and magazines as well as his membership in numerous national and international organizations. The second part of the thesis comprises of the critical analysis of the selected monographs. In this section, the emphasis is put foremost on the main traits of his writing style.
