Applikation of alternative means of communication in physical education for children with autistic spectrum disorder

Title of work: Application of alternative means of communication in physical education for children with autistic spectrum disorder. Aims: Monitoring of application of alternative means of communication in PE lessons for children with autistic spectrum disorder at primary schools within Kolín region. Method: Given study is descriptive and takes advantage of the qualitative research (questionnaire and structured interview). Results: The task of mapping the application of alternative means of communication within the research set has been accomplished. This work brings answers to research questions. The research showed that approximately one half of pedagogues of research set is using communication aids during PE lessons. The research proved the fact, that pictographs belong to appropriate and frequently used communication aids. Another conclusion of this research shows, that awareness of alternative means of communication isn't sufficient for some pedagogues.
