Stančová, Michaela ; Kostecka, Anna (referee) ; Rusin Dybalska, Renata (advisor)
The purpose af the work was to clarifY the term of the language galnes. The definitions of this term vary from author to author which show very clearly that the tenn games has not a stable position in the linguistics. One part of the work 1S therefore trying to outline the origin and history af the term. The term games appeared in almost aU discipHnes what evoked diffusing thc different apinions on this subject from one discipline to another. The linguistic theory of games for example accepted some cathegories for the game description from the mathematic game theory. The term language games 1S not anly problematic because af the definition uncertainty but as well because af the huge amount of things which he represents. My work is an example of that fact. ~rhe work show s that the tenn language games can cover up everything from the theoretical interpretation done by Ludwig Wittgenstein to feuilletons af polish journalistMichal Ogórek.
