Possibilities of prevention and support of the right speech development of children with visual impairment in preschool age

The bachelor's thesis is focused on preschool children suffering from visual impairment along with speech defects. The main goal of this bachelor's thesis is to present the current knowledge of the defined problem as well as to provide the subsequent elaboration of the educational content of the subject special education care. The bachelor's thesis is divided into two parts: the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with people with visual impairment, classification of visual impairment and defects that lead to visual impairment in children. Furthermore, it addresses the specifics of development of visually impaired children and subsequently focuses more on speech and its development. Last but not least, the theoretical part is also focused on speech therapy intervention and education of visually impaired students. The practical part of the bachelor's thesis was developed based on the observation and semi-structured interview. On this basis, the educational content of special education care (school education programme draft) entitled "Speech Therapy Care for Visually Impaired Children" was created. Part of the empirical part also represents "Proposal of Activities for the Implementation of the Educational Content of the Subject Special Education Care: Speech Therapy", which can be used by students, kindergarten teachers, but also parents of visually impaired children.
Impaired communication skills of adults

The topic of the bachelor thesis is impaired communicative abilities of an adult person. The bachelor thesis will be divided into two main parts, the theoretical part and the research part. The theoretical part will deal with general logopaedic problems. The second part, empirical, will be based on an interview with a clinical speech therapist as well as with adults who have impaired communication abilities. The aim of this thesis is to point out that impaired communicative abilities do not only occur in children, but this problem also applies to adults who attend a logopaedic surgery.

The theme of the Bachelor´s thesis are general questions about a speech defect focused on aphasia. The work is divided in two, theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part explains some general information about a speech therapy and neurolingvistics. It characterises all the disruptions in communication skills. Then it also deals with the definiton of concept called the aphasia. Concerning its classification, diagnostics and therapy. The practical part contains two casuistrys of aphasic patients and their analysis.
