MOULÍKOVÁ, Dita
The master's thesis is focused on the individual planning in social services specifically in the social activation service for families with children in the ORP Milevsko. The aim of this master's thesis is to investigate how individual planning contributes to changing the situation of families in the ORP Milevsko. Two research questions were set for this thesis: "How do clients of the social activation service evaluate collaboration with a social worker using an individual plan?" and "How do social workers evaluate the change in the family situation after evaluating the individual plan?" The thesis is structured into theoretical and practical part, where the theoretical part describes the process of individual planning, explains concepts such as individual plan, key worker, the general level of social activation service for families with children, and then specifically introduces the social activation service for families with children in the ORP Milevsko as the selected area. The practical part was processed using the method of questioning with semi-structured interviews. Interviews with social workers were conducted in total of two, and with 12 service clients. Both research samples were selected by purposive sampling method. The results of the practical part were evaluated through open coding. The results from the conducted interviews indicate that individual planning is beneficial for families in the given locality in the context of providing social services and support. The results of the master's thesis can serve as educational material for students and institutions focused on individual planning. They can also offer a comprehensive view of the functioning of the process in a smaller community and the specific needs of families in the given locality.
